I have no idea, I've looked it up on the internet but they don't make/sell that rod anymore in the brand shop. I read a random forum post from 2008 saying they retailed at £299.. but 2008 was a long time ago. I imagine its like saying that a phone retailed for that in 2008 and you're selling it now..

Well anything will be a plus Sophie..
My womble today was adding £2.50 in nectar points to the total. Which I used to pay for some business shopping. Well towards it anyway.

Found 23p at my cousin's house on their lounge floor last night - actually my 1 year old found the coins and tried to eat them! Not mine to keep though, so it doesn't count lol
Did get notification of a tracked cash back of £72 for my breakdown cover though and since the move, I'll be getting a refund of £89-odd on my car insurance (one plus to moving out of the South-East) so smiling today...0 -
That's great about the cashback what a lovely sum! What are you going to do with it?
As to your cousins place. Wow. Are they always so careless with their money around the place? I thought it was just a joke about money down the back of sofas but in that case....." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

I've decided that all cashback is to be paid to the CCs - no spa days for me lol. I am determined to be debt free ASAP.
My cousin's house has pennies scattered all over - it's like they don't care about small change. And then they often moan about being hard-up! I gave my boys a piggy bank yesterday, that I'd unpacked following our move, and asked the older one to pop all the pennies and change I've gathered together into it. He said that now we have our own "penny-pig", Nanny won't have to save hers for him now. Bless him xxx0 -
5 receipts with 1, 1, 2, 4, and 11 points on. It's slow going, but it's also money I did not have before.

I just wanted to give my mum a mention! Since joining the forums and becoming a wombler I've told my mum about my wombling ways and she's got involved too! Called me yesterday to say she picked up an asda receipt and got a voucher for £6.67 using the price guarantee! And being the wonderful mummy that she is, she's giving it to me!Debt as at 5 June 2023 - £15,600.89

Dizzy - good on you. Maybe too late for the parents but you being a good influence on the boys about saving their pennies is great. I'm with you on being debt free asap now as well. Feel I've let it ride for too long.
Siebrie - Exactly. It's all small bits that add up to the bigger picture.
Twiggy - your mum is amazing! How nice she wants to get involved with the womble ways. She is your womble padewan:rotfl:" Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Hello :hello:
Not local to you I'm afraid, but if you post here regularly, I'm sure you'll find lots of virtual wombling friends. It does get easier, once you get into the swing of it. I now take great delight in being nick-named the "Coupon Queen" in my house :rotfl:0
