  • Hey guys,

Another question about these apps....I see the checkoutsmart app does not require you to scan a barcode, it just asks you to take a picture of your receipt, so if the receipt just says 'crisps' as mine does will they accept it?

I suspect they can tell from codes supplied to them ahead of time by the supermarket selling the item. I have never had a problem claiming cash back.

Not sure if this counts as a womble but I just found a brand new bottle of My Muscle kitchen and bathroom drain gel in a car park! Quick look on the shops website shows me they sell it for £4.98! It may come in handy one day!

Hey thanks for that link Mr Denarii, it was very interesting to note that in this case the wombler donates his gains to charity, and the fact that he includes a note to say both Ts and As have said it is legal what he and others here are doing.

Well done on your find Twiggy, Queen Magpie in residence :)

It worked :j Although the free stuff so far includes crisps, chocolate and coke so not the healthiest diet for me over the next few days...and if times get really tough then there's the dogfood! :)
