I use Shopitize too - after hearing about it on this thread, I think...so far in a month I've got over £20 back, which is great :T
Not much wombling for me over the past week - I'm nowhere near as lucky as some of you, but...eyes down...
Been looking online at houses in Shropshire as DH may be changing his job. I feel a little scared to be facing this but excited too. I've no experience of this part of the world - have any of you guys? Sorry, not anything to do with wombling...0 -

I would love to join please! I already collect Tesco receipts and have added the unclaimed clubcard points on lots of occasions. The only thing is that the store near me have eagle-eyed assistants that make it hard to get the receipts before they scoop them up!
I think a good place to find these is the car park and surrounding area - and I've managed to get a few that have been left at the self-service machines. And of course in the bottom of trolleys!
I'd never thought of finding the Mcdonalds cups and retrieving the beans though! That will be brilliant as I love a coffee out when I'm in town, and I think you can have a latte or cappucino with those cards which I find nicer than their regular coffee.
Looking forward to the challlenge!£10 a day extra in May '18[B]£35/310[

Didn't actually venture out on foot today as not sleeping well at the moment, so no proper wombling today, although I did acquire a left over cabbage for the guinea pigs when my good friend cooked my dinner.
Cleared out an old handbag and retrieved about £6 cash wish has gone towards the emergency fuel and food pots, and 60p went to my chocolate fund!Debt -it's a fight that I'm winning, dealing with debt one day at a time.

Today I found 5p by the till in Aldi. Also uploaded a pic of my receipt to Checkoutsmart for 20p. Im not sure about Shopitize for me, as the last couple of times ive bought things in Sainsburys the receipt hasnt had a barcode on, which is what the app specifies!
Also I bought the Phileas Fogg crisps and the butchers dog food at asda yesterday but all my receipt says is 'dog food' and 'crisps' so although I uploaded the receipt it hasnt credited as my receipt does not specify what I bought. I need to work out the best strategy for these apps-any womblers out there have any advice?#39 - Save £12k in 20250 -

Hi Linz,
in order to get the money back from the products you need to click on the product to claim it and then it will ask you to scan the barcode from the product, as well as show your receipt.Mortgage Feb 2023- £249,210 MFW 2023 #20: £524.05/£500 (104.81%)0 -
Hi Linz
Hopefully Sophie has answered your question already but yes, you have to use the app to scan the item itself, its very easy if you follow their instructions, it zaps it in seconds, then you upload the reciept.
Well my wombling had a massive boost this week as I had to by a lot of of stuff for the business on my MBNA reward card, which is kept at £0. I am now at almost £10 in Argos vouchers, which are great for present buying. If I keep going like this till Christmas, I could end up with almost £100 in vouchers.

Thanks both! I feel really thick now, I thought they meant the barcode on the receipt not the product lol#39 - Save £12k in 20250
