Luna he has a nice job there. Have you tried to sell the laptop?
Yeah, he patched it up and sold it for a couple of hundred. I tried to convince him to put it aside in a savings account but I think he spent it on collectable DVD's. _pale_

    I try...

Nice! I think we are on the opposite side of that curve as I'm currently helping to catalogue, photograph & ebay hundreds if not thousands of my OH'S comic book & graphic novel collection. It's pain staking but we have made money doing it that way. If we sold all to one source we'd be lucky to make £500.

    Hi

My sister gave me a bag of clothes she didn't want / no good for me but made £23! on eBay so far - will be sending her a box of homemade brownies in the post to counteract feeling a bit guilty - she'd rather have cake than money they are better off than me

Gladly changed title. I did notice, but being lazy :)

Legally. I have seen much debate on this & you can search past threads on that topic that go on for pages.

I would encourage anyone following to not try to claim reciepts that have card information on, because that can link you to card fraud, apparently.

But what about when the people in front of you let you have their points this has happened to me a few times - once with a £400 Xmas booze shop

Thanks Sophie, thats nice to hear.

Natlie - Well exactly. Im pretty sure there are 50 shades of grey to all the What If scenarios relating to finding reciepts....dont feel guilty about the money you made on your sisters clothes either, you still had to work to sell them & she obviously didnt want them.

Well today, this was my 4th day in a row where I havent had to spend my own money to feed my family. Today as with yesterday was from tips. I also had coffee & lunch for free at work. A total of £14 raised in 4 days from a mix of nectar points, roadkill, tips & a found brand match. Considering my official shopping budget was £200 over 37 days due to a pay day being pushed back, I seem to be hanging on longer than Bryan Adams with THAT SONG, back in the day of Top of the Pops...lol Go Wombles!!

So on my trip to Asda i had a look out for dropped receipts so i could do APG. £1.30 in total. A small amount, but a start!

I also found 1p roadkill on my way back to the car :)

Sophie that's a good start. Especially with roadkill. It really adds up. I literally can't remember the last time I didn't have a good handful of coins to take off my shopping total each time I do self service. All Just lying around. I found £9 in the last two months of last year & almost £3 so far this Jan. It makes walks all the more interesting :)
