Lesson 1: Don't Trust estate agents
Lesson 2: Don't trust estate agents
Lesson 3: Don't trust estate agents

The agent could have someone earmarked for the property, and is just abiding time.

Some agents don't let you put in offers without viewing the property first

Estate agents are not too busy to be unable to show a home until February, so that's a lie for a start.

For whatever reason the agent is no longer interested in trying to secure a sale. So either approach the vendors directly - note through the door, contact the other agent or forget it.

  • Zoopla suggest it was last bought for £27k in December 2013. Modernised and being sold as an investment or for a 1st time buyer, to anyone really.

Nice little profit if they get anywhere near that.

As advised - make an offer. That should get you in the door and you can always withdraw it after viewing.....

    Without even viewing it?
EA is up to something. If they are finding it sitting around on their books they should be rushing to show it to you. Not making you wait that long. I'd go with a note through the door.

Why not, if the agent won't let OP view.

If offer is accepted, OP can then insist on viewing and withdraw if necessary.

If they wont grant a viewing , they certainly wont be accepting offers from people who havent even viewed, the house is sold , to someone unknown

Don't like the cooker being tucked away from the rest of the kitchen, and did they really put a carpet in a newly refurbished bathroom? Yuck! Wee stains.
    Been away for a while.
