We will have to stay in and comp FF!

I think the Scottish Borders has some of the most snow rose. Don't know how often DS2 got snowed in and no buses running either. He hasn't had it nearly as bad up in Tain near Inverness which is surprising

    :hello: Everyone,

hope all is well,I went for a walk today with my walking group then I went to my parents for lunch, went to Waitrose for a coffee and then saw some friends outside a cafe so stopped and chatted to them.

I then came home, its so bitterly cold today, took out rubbish from my kitchen to the rubbish bins, then got started on my washing in the washing machine.

    Have a nice evening!

    love and light,

    Katie xxx

Hi 3for. We have visited the Falkirk Wheel but it was bucketing at the time! Stayed at Premier Inn along from it another time and walked there after dinner only to find they open a lock gate so you can't go accross!
Never been to Callendar House. Is it good?
Didn't do tour as bit of a flying visit

Currently free admission so might be worth a visit the next time you are in the area (if you like this sort of thing) - my great gran used to work there before she got married in the 1920's!

It looks interesting 3for. Would like to do some canal walking in the area too. We have visited Linlithgow Palace and Blackness Castle on previous visits.
