Hope everyone is ok this morning. Just a bit of snow on the grass and car here although you can see some on the hills.

I would threaten the school with getting the police involved wingo if they don't sort things to your satisfaction.
Think DD buying phone off me as my Sony Xperia is working fine and she was looking for new phone. Won't take much from her but don't think she should claim everything I win. Never told her I won £300 from Brand Alley so I could buy presents. She did get £50 coat out of it though.

DD has had a bad cold, cough etc and was having day off and sleeping in but had loads of texts from friends who live out of town saying they aren't coming to school because of snow. DD angry they woke her up and because we don't have any! :rotfl:

Thanks FF. At least DD won't miss anything at school as the school buses are off and loads are off with this bad cough/cold thing anyway.
School is open but as most teachers stay out of town it is probably pointless.

Good morning all , loving the pics today no the cow ones last night.

We had snow last night which is laying and it still snowing on and off. DS has to catch the train back to Leeds at 9.30 tonight so think he will have to get a taxi as don't fancy going up the steep hill to take him.

I've just took jasper for a walk and it's slippy in places now it's thawing a bit. Jasper just wanted to drag me everywhere!
Hope you make it up the hill ok fire**fly! Sorry but the devil in me has funny visions of you getting to the top and saying to yourself "gonna make it, gonna make it" then you slowly sliding back down!

Hope your DD is ok Sheils xx When it gets too bad our school closes early as kids all come on buses so travelling is usually disruptive for them. My kids schools however hardly ever close!

I don't blame you Sylvia I wouldn't want to drive in this weather either!

We are expecting more snow this afternoon so I better go dig out the snow scooter from the garage for kids. I might even go to work on it!

Don't blame you not wanting to drive Sylvia. Hope trains keep running for your DS. They seem to stop trains quickly up here.

Morning loads of snow here but sun is shining. DS is bringing GD here later today as she is miffed at GS having attention with being unwell lol. So we are going to make fat balls for birds. Hate the smell when making these so kitchen will be freezing as windows will be open
