Yes wingo/shiels we have a warning. We have amber at the moment although it is going mad out there. But expecting red in a couple of hours. Police are out at road works as barriers and cones which were held down by sand bags are all over the place. Went out to bin to put rubbish out and was blown half way across courtyard. Neighbour had a good laugh when he saw me running out of archway. He had just parked his car. He did enquire if I was ok though. It took Ds three hours to get home as he was diverted away from bridges etc. Normaly does it in 1 hour 20mins. First day back at work after 3 weeks off and he has terrible drive there and back. He was just over 2 hours this morning.

lol love pic ff. Although I have to say We get plane stacking for Glasgow airport here and have not heard or seen a thing a thing for hours. It normally stacks over Strathclyde Park which is minutes from me. Shiels has stayed there so she will know it.

Have to say been up for a while but out of to bed. Wind is getting out of control. Off to back sitting room do not hear wind so much here. On couch see you in the morning peeps.

Morning peeps earlly again. Do not sleep very well. Weather is not great in fact it is very cold and wet. Police are still out looking after cones etc. God love them what a night. Three cars still here and officers

Wind still howling. Starting to think we should sleep downstairs when it is like this.
Hope things quieten down for you rose know it is much worse up your way. My son and gf had bother getting to work yesterday too as although they live just at Edinburgh side of Forth Road Bridge it was closed and they need to get over to other side. They will be glad when they move as the bridge has been closed so often since they moved there.
Will need to get some shopping today.

Me neither - Henry just would not shut up!! I had to get up and refill my hot water bottle after being awake so long it went cold. Really struggling this morning. Not looking forward to my walk to work - wish I could stay at home this morning!

Hope no one has been blown away overnight!

Good morning everyone!

Weather here is not too bad at all at the mo - dry and
apparently the sun is due to appear this afternoon.
Perfect weather for pottering about in my garden.

Managed to get quite a few jobs done out there
yesterday including clearing out a lot of bamboo which
seems to have erm 'flourished' over the mild winter
months! Nearly done - just a bit more to do which I
may tackle today.

This Henry storm sounds awful. :eek: Hope you're ok
today rose - safe journey to work April. xx
