Sylvia well done on win. DS is on leave for three weeks sylvia so he has plenty of time to recover. His sleep pattern is all over the place as well at the moment but no doubt it will return quickly as normally he could sleep on a clothes line lol.

Well we did make it out and had a snack and coffee. Main thing was a trip to Apple Store and they sorted out DHs laptop! Order restored. What would we do without the internet.

Leanfun, I've had lots of bother with my iCloud emails too! I soooo hate updates as that's where it all goes wrong! Glad you got your clothes and great choice :T

I sent email to trampoline place as a few of the equipment was closed off the other day and also mentioned how disruptive and a bit less organised it was a bit in cafe area each time I have gone as it caused confusion to customers who thought people were pushing in queue. Anyway they replied and acknowledged it and offered a free session for a few of the kids who were with us! So kids are pleased as its expensive to go.

Lo Wingo your DH would have a great time with mine. He only comes to life when he has someone to talk football to. It's amazing how many times you think you are having a 'normal' conversation and he brings it around to football.

I can count on one hand the number of football matches I have been to I have no interest whatsoever. DD1 met SIL through football so you can imagine I'm cornered at times. SIL brought out a football quiz at Christmas. Say no more.

DH took me to an over 60,000 crowd match when we first went out. On holiday in Austria not once but twice his team were playing down the road at a training match and we had to go. Again on holiday in Spain they had a surprise ticket for me I was not happy.

So I fully sympathise Wingo. It's an addiction.

Great that you had a positive response to your email. Great for the kids.

Good morning everyone. Have had a quick peek out and no snow yaaaaaaaay but it looks rather cold and damp. Had a look at this weeks bargains in the newsletter and might just nip in to Boots and have a look at the gift sets they are selling off. If it wasn't cousins day off I would give her a phone and ask what her branch has. The soap and glory one and a few others look good for splitting for birthday presents etc throughout the year. I got a huge S & G one last christmas and I am still using it and box it was in sits in corner of bathroom for storage of other toiletries etc. Hope everyone has a lucky day. Going to try and do a few comps before I have to head out this morning.

Frosty out this morning - makes a change from rain I suppose.


I have 3 football mad sons and DDs bf is too (he bought her the pinkish Scotland football top for Xmas) DH on the other hand couldn't care less which is wonderful! None of them discuss it with me as although I take a bit of interest in Rangers, Aberdeen, Liverpool and Scotland they seldom do very well.


Well done with the freebie wingo. It is nice when you get something when you complain.


I am well stocked up with reduced perfume and aftershave sets too rose but will have another look when next at Boots. DD has got me my favourite "Lady Million" for my birthday as I pointed it out to her. DH wanted to get me it for Xmas but it was far too expensive as Boots sold out of their reduced offer in shops so I said I didn't want it. Funny how they have plenty for the sales though! My birthday is on Mother's Day this year which is annoying. Expect I will get joint presents.


Ramada says they have all my details now and I should hear back from them soon with points details. They were really slow when I won £50 voucher from them once too. Hate being kept waiting on prizes.

lol, I wouldn't have been happy either leanfun,
when DH & sons get together it's all football talk here as well,
lol, must be admitting though sometimes comes in handy
them knowing the players names/who beat who in the
games etc for the quizwords & crosswords in the
mags as they usually answer them quicker than
me googling for it
