Is everyone doing the new Topcashback comp? Just won £5 from them, only won 10p in their Xmas one. I change my Topcashback money into Tesco points so will be worth up to £20 when I convert it to spend :D
First win of year at last anyway.

Well done Sheils great to have a first win. Thanks for the tip about changing to Tesco points.

Sunny again here FireFly no rain yet. Yes, DH is good for football and some music quizzes and puzzles.

Rose hope you have a great shopping trip with DS.

Last year when I went to Boots everything had gone empty shelves I tend to go on line.

In addition to the freebee I have ordered some greatly reduced hand cream and lip gloss for gifts from Amazon. I'm getting into the swing Sheils so no mad dash for Christas next year.

Picking up Gs today so hope it doesn't rain.

    Good luck everyone.

Good morning everyone - hope you're all ok!

Well - this morning didn't start awfully well for me ...
up at 5.00'ish (as usual), started up lappy, did some thanks,
was in the middle of doing message on here etc ..... and
the lappy decided to do updates and shut everything down!

Gave up waiting and went up for my shower. :p

Only just managed to get into lappy now after it had
finished the updating and configuring or whatever it
does! No sign of my message so ..... off I go again! :D

It's a beautiful day here, the sun is shining away, sky
is bright blue so let's hope it stays that way.

Well done getting great result from your email wingo
    re the trampoline centre! :T:T

    Did someone mention football.

Can't abide it - load of namby-pambies! :p My son is
a follower of footie, as was my hubby, my son in law is
also a follower, my brother is torn between rugby and
footie ... and so the list goes on. :D

leanfun - think I would have been a tad unhappy too
especially with the 'surprise ticket' they had for you to
see a footie match when on holiday in Spain after having
to see the team play in Austria!!

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

:footie::footie: Yep - football is definitely an addiction! :footie::footie:

You're so right though fire**fly - the footie knowledge
comes in handy with quizzes etc .... :D

:j:j Very well done sheils on your Topcashback comp
    win! :T

Well - off for a well deserved cup of coffee - catch up
    with you all later.

Have a lovely and lucky day. :)

Good morning all, hope you are OK today!

Lovely and sunny here but as you all say very cold.

Well done on the Top Cash Back win Sheils, will have to have a go.

Love the little gif at the end of your post today firefly, thanks everyone for your lovely pics too.

I hope you didn't fall over when you slipped this morning Rose, you could do without that with your shoulder the way it is.

Sorry you had lappie problems today Alfie, glad its all sorted now.

DH likes football but never watches it on TV but does follow it in the newspaper as when his Son rings up he always talks football. I sometimes go and have a nice bath if I know there is a big match on TV just so DH will watch it.

Hi leanfun, Wingo, April and anyone else popping by.

Off to town so will see you later.

Hello peeps back home thank goodness it is freezing out there. No sylvia didn't fall but nearly did the splits at one point which would have been eventfull seeing as I have not done any gymnastics since I was a youngster lol. Spent a fortune in Boots as my big branch had loads reduced. It is DIL birthday on the 21st so she is getting this years Soap and Glory christmas box which I have only paid £18 for in her birthday box along with an Amazon voucher. I actually bought two going to keep a few things out of it for myself and put the rest along with the other things I bought in the pressy cupboard. Bought the kids a drinking jar it is like a jam jar with a handle. It has a lid on it with a straw stuck through the middle. (asda) Bought son a fancy bottle of rum and DIL got a big box of Thorntons. So that is me spent up untill summer. Of to do some comps intbetween batch cooking for son and family he is coming back down tomorrow night to pick it up and GK's want some more soup. Just as well I like cooking lol.

Glad you managed not to have to practice your gymnastics Rose LOL. You are good cooking for them, I expect it helps with DIL working, I usually cook when I go down to DD2's and they love coming home to a hot meal without having to get it.

Well done on your lovely win leanfun, especially as it was a surprise.

Glad to be back home in the warm but it was nice to have a lovely coffee and toast while we were out.

    Good luck everyone.
