Morning peeps. Dull Damp and Cold here this morning. Sad news about David Bowie. Met him in the 70's when I worked in the Apollo in Glasgow. He was very charming and when not performing looked very normal. No strange clothes or makeup. Hope everyone is well and has a lucky day.

Is it just me who feels that there isn't the volume of comps worth entering at the minute. I know we all want different things but I have gone through the entire board and have struggled to find many at all I am interested in. My board is a sea of red crosses with very occasional green tick bobbing along for good measure. Don't suppose January will be very lucky for me

Know it is always quieter this time of year for comps but seems to be getting progressively worse

I haven't been finding that many to enter either although haven't gone through the board. I try not to enter for kids stuff or anything else I don't have a use for. Even the Mag Dailies aren't very exciting.
Had a decent January last year but not holding my breath for this one.

Know what you mean - I mainly just go for the money comps
now (along with zillions of others! ).

I only have the very occasional green ticks too!

Hello everyone. We are back home safe and sound. Had a delivery while we were away of a DVD player we had won in December, DD1 is having it as hers is broke so thats good. We had a really lovely time visiting family and a lovely girly day out to Leeds on Sunday. DD2 took me and GD to Wagamas which was a lovely meal. Got myself a posh shopping bag in the sale at Accessorize and DD got me a new hand bag from Jones Boots so well pleased. Still got over £100 left of my Christmas M & S vouchers left but saving them until I see something special.

Well done on any wins during the last week.

Where did you book for Valentine's night Sheils?

Hope your bird seed came OK firefly? I notice when we got back our bulbs are coming through already!

I'm glad you had a great time - what did you get up to? I just got back to town on Friday afternoon after being at my parents' for a couple of weeks. They're moving out in February so I had to sort through all the stuff that was left there from my childhood. Really hard to get rid of things that have so many memories attached, but I just don't have space in my flat!

yes, thanks, bird seed came & all put away in shed,
the driver is always very good & carries/stacks it for me
as it's heavy! gave him a tub of quality street for
his late Christmas pressie what i'd saved as he's so lovely
