Good luck with the choosing new glasses Katie.
Are you going for anything different? My DD chose the bigger style glasses last time and I didn't really like them at first but when she put them on she really suited them
It's been a lovely hot day here too fire**fly although chilly tonight! I dread it when we have snow though! _pale_
Lovely pics Sheils. I saw them earlier and you got a good pic of the colourful train tram. Our kids loved that. Your DD and her bf look good together
Hope your DH is feeling better Sylvia xx There's a lot of sniffles n snuffles going around again! DD2 came home with a letter saying there is foot & mouth going around! Hope it's not going around the school.
Well done to your DH's team leanfunMy DH not happy cos his team lost so he's gone to bed in a mood!
Rose, hope the tramadol work better for you xx
The vouchers have paid out early this yr so must get some Xmas pressies in. I went to wallpaper shop with DD as we are decorating her room and popped in Smyths next door. I took a toy to till and went to give LTS vouchers thinking they took them and they didn't!I was getting mixed up with toys r us!
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -

Good morning everyone!
Hope you are all ok on this rather wet day.
Yesterday was a glorious weather day with sun and
blue skies ....
Today it's a different kettle of fish .... stuck my head
outside of the back door and encountered wet stuff!
Still, looking on the bright side of things, it's really mild!
Hope you had a good sleep rose and today finds you feeling
a tad better.
Yikes wingo .... foot and mouth! Must admit - had to
google it cos I always thought it involved cloven-hoofed
animalsbut apparently it's hand, foot, and mouth disease
that us humans are unfortunately susceptible to!
Please take care.
Your meal sounded very tasty Katie.Good luck with
getting your glasses today.
Very well done claire.
Hope you all have a lovely winning Wednesday, will pop
by later.

CYL :wave:please be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
mormimg peeps. been throwing it down all night here. managed to get a few hours sleep as painkilllers knocked me out. still really sore but can move it a little bit. going to take them again shortly doc says it will take a few days for injections to really get to work and ease it off. It is weird using my right hand for everything as I am left handed but it is surprising how much you then realise you use your non dominant hand for. so not as bad as i thought. take care everyone and have a lucky day. will leave lappy on and check in now and again0
-
Good Morning,
Been raining through the night here but stopped now and supposed to be ok I think. Hope it dries up for you FF & Alfie.
Hope the injections help soon rose.
Some lovely pics lately FF & Alfie - thank you. I do keep up when away if I can, but don't post often as old lappy, which I take with me has faulty keyboard.
Wingo, DD leaves school at beginning of May I think but will still have her exams to do. It is our 2 week school holidays here just now. Never heard foot and mouth in humans.
Hopefully weather forecast is rubbish for the winter 3for. Usually is!
Leanfun and everyone else who said it, yes I am very proud of DD. She is about 5ft 9" and has a figure to die for. What I didn't realise is how much hassle girls who look like that get! So many men seem to think they are god's gift and won't leave her alone. I am proud because she has carefully chosen a really nice guy and not let her looks go to her head.
Thanks Clare but I am not eligible for the Amazon Voucher (again)
Well done for getting it.
Sylvia, hope Fred is feeling better and you are enjoying having your son to visit. My DS1 comes home from Sydney for a week next month before he goes to a wedding in Ireland. He has just moved jobs and got a 45% pay rise!!!
Hope you find nice glasses Katie. I don't really like my last ones.
Must get on. Hope everyone has a lucky day.

Holiday for kids here as well shiels but gk's are registered with holiday club. it is a bit costly but they love it and can pick and choose what they want to do. it runs the same as school hours 9am - 3pm. it only runs for two weeks in summer one week in october though so helps out working parents.0

Yeah these things really help rose. My oldest 2 used to go to that sort of thing in the summer but it was 2 different sessions - morning and afternoon so didn't help full time working mums. I worked 3 days a week in those days but sister had kids same age so used to pay her to help as she didn't work.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media
