It's poured on and off all day so far Firefly. DH ventured out this morning between downpours and said its water everywhere. At least it's brighter now not so dark.

Sadly I'm sat comping. Maybe brighter tomorrow.

Hi everyone,


Back home now. We had a nice day and managed a bit more canal walking before heading to our Mitsubishi dealer and ordering our new car. It docks in Bristol on 27th so I'm informed! Think we managed to negotiate pretty well . I concentrated on price and DH on some extras. Glad to get it over anyway and looking forward to having new car which is under warranty etc
Been keeping up with everyone's news. Must get on now though. x

hope all is well,I am fine,My first Slimming World meeting went well last night and everyone was so supportive

I did a 30 minute seafront walk today and came home to Cauliflower,sweetcorn and Jacket Potatoe for lunch.

Having a relaxing evening now

Was going to sort a load of paperwork out but DD1 came and we landed up going out. Got myself and new pair of jeans and a skirt.

We have heating on here. I think Alfie was doing the rain dAnce today. Everytime I thought it was clearing up it poured again!

We just posted together Sylvia. Great to go out with DD paperwork can wait. Sounds like a successful shopping trip,

Good on yer Sheils getting a new car! What make did you go for? Glad you had a good time away. We didn't have all 5 of us in one room as we had to get two rooms. There were only double rooms left with a double bed in each so I had the girls and DH & DS in the other. We still had to pay extra though for kids breakfast.

I've been to BIL's mums funeral today. She was diagnosed with Alzheimer's a few months ago but died suddenly two wks ago of anneurysm. She had a lovely send off though.
DD1 got a C3 behaviour at school today which isn't like her! She said a boy came past and punched her in the boob which hurt so she got angry and pushed him in the bush! The teacher only saw her pushing him though and she got in trouble!

Wingo sorry to hear about your BILs Mum. Alzheimer's can be terrible for the person and family. Her death would have been a shock for the family.

Wow I can't believe schools can be so unbelievable. Why don't they investigate more especially when it's someone who is not normally in trouble.

Firefly thanks I do hope tomorrow is better weather but I have dentist in the afternoon. Ho no! I'm going into hiding.

Ooh I hate the dentist leanfun, my heartbeat just races all the way through!
You can't argue with the school now as they would just put them in the consequence room for the day and they don't do work in there, they just make them sit upright facing a wall for the full day with only two toilet breaks!
