Hope you managed to get the cats to stop scrapping firefly. When were at the Animal Cat Rescue place yesterday there were loads of kittens waiting for adoption and I noticed a note on the pod of the back kittens asking peeps to consider giving a black kitten a home. I suppose many peeps still think they bring bad luck. They were beautiful as well.

hiya sylv, yes, I chased them off & they've not been back
thank goodness, one went one way & the other
another way sounds awful the cat fight noises
they make :eek:
suppose superstition plays a big part of it of people thinking
black cats bring bad luck which is a shame,
I've had a couple over my time of having cats & they never bought me bad luck
lol, was looking for a pic with a lucky black cat on but
found this which is interesting..

Good morning Inners!

Hope you are all well on this light cloud/red sky/slightly
damp/sun was out, now it's gone in/due to rain later
Tuesday! Phew - think I've got it all covered! :rotfl:

Not venturing far today - got shopping being delivered
this morning and then must get on with decorating!

Now you come to mention black puddy cats fire**fly/sylv,
there are none where I live .... such a shame ..... considering
how many cats there are about. Used to have a black puddy
years ago - she was such a poppet.

It's sunny and a beautiful morning here now too
fire**fly! Can't keep up with this weather - so very
quick to change from one thing to t'other!

Looks like it has been quite cold through the night but sun shining away now.


Well done on the book win leanfun. Never enter for kids stuff as I don't have anyone to give it to really. Used to give it neighbours grandchildren but they are growing up now. Nephew's wife is expecting now though so might start again.


Well you will never guess but I actually had a WEM this morning!
A £20 iTunes voucher from the daily Levi Roots comp. Must go and see who posted it. Know I spotted it when someone was asking if their WEM was genuine as it said possible winner on it. They must have changed the wording now as mine doesn't say that.


Didn't know black cats were supposed to be unlucky. Is it supposed to be lucky if they walk in front of you? Remember having conversation with guy who stopped his car for one strolling accross in front of him!


Think we are going to dump (sorry recycling centre) with branches from trees we cut down the other week and loads clothes DS3 & DD have cleared out, not to mention one or two wine bottles! Hopefully have a nice walk too.

depends what superstitions you believe in sheils
about the black cats,
some people still associate them with witches etc
& some countries say they're bad luck
we believe it's good luck for a black cat to cross our paths :j

Yes plenty of children around, 3 GKs and 3 nieces children. Have some books already for Christmas presents. Great.
