Morning peeps After a night of tossing and turning because I was too warm gave up trying to get a decent sleep and got up and made a cuppa. I am now wide awake . Will try and get an hour on the couch after I have been shopping with DIL. Has been raining all night so hopefully it will clear up and we get some sunshine later this morning. Hope everyone has a nice day whatever you are doing.

    Good morning Inners!

Hope you are all well on this muggy Sunday morning. :)

Had a cracking good thunder/lightning storm last night :j - not
sure what is happening today re the weather as at the moment
it looks quite nice out but these days it's hard to tell!

It's meant to rain later, staying wet all week and bit of lightning/
thunder thrown in. Yikes - looks like I overdid the rain dance! :p

Still muggy though - got unbearable through the night - barely
got any sleep! Thought a decent storm would clear the
air ..... but not this time. :p

Sorry to hear you have a leaking roof wingo ... you have just
reminded me .... my shed roof was leaking quite badly, so
much so I had to bring all the mower and stuff into the
garage to keep it dry. :o May just have a peek in the shed
later and see what's occurring in there ..... Must get
the shed roof re-felted at some point.

You are right though, my garden is looking lovely, lush and
green - just quite soggy. :D

Sorry sylv ... know you're not liking the storms - please
give little Lottie a hug from me. xxx

The plane crash is just so sad ....

Well - have a lovely day all, will pop back later. :)

    Good Morning,

Was wet through the night but no storms. Supposed to be our best day of the year I think. It was cool through the night here. Can't remember having such cold nights in the summer before but at least that doesn't stop us sleeping.

Thanks for DHs birthday messages. Will show him when he gets up.
I took him a cuppa in bed and he opened his cards and presents and he has done well. He has aftershave, mug, 2 malt whiskys and vouchers so far. I won him a book and shaving set which I kept for today too for little extras so he has started the book already. Expect he will want me to make steak pie for dinner. We had 3 really fancy dinners when away so not going out. Have wine in the fridge for later though :D

Hope everyone has a lovely day.

I don't believe it ( Victor Meldrew stylee ) they are digging up the main road again. It is only three weeks since it was completely stripped and relaid. It was closed to all traffic for five days. It is one of two main roads to Hamilton and main road to town centre here. But as all the main services run for the town centre and side streets off it we never seem to get away from it being drilled and dug. Must cost the roads department a fortune.

Good morning all. Hated the storm but the air is lovely this morning so I suppose it was worth it.

Good luck with sorting the shed Alfie.

Think we are off the the Animal Santury today for their open day and dog displays etcs. Could do with a rest after yesterday.

Hope your DH has a lovely day Sheils.
