Evening peeps was very windy here this afternoon although it was warm. Calmed down now thank goodness. FF I do not know why the different departments don't put their heads together and do a bit of planning. Maybe logic does not work for them. The thousands and thousands they must have paid to get the road sorted out is now down the preverbial as half of it is being dug up now.:mad:0

Good morning Inners!
Hope you are all well on this rather damp start to Monday.
Weather has been mighty strange of late .... yesterday was
such a mixed bag of bright sunshine, rain etc!
Hoping to see the sun out later on .... maybe .....
A weather warning has now been issued for my way.
Yikes - very heavy rain due but will eventually brighten up
as the day progresses. :j
Have a lovely day whatever you have planned. Will catch
up later.

Good Morning,
Been a really wet night after such a sunny day yesterday (although windy) Supposed to get a dull morning and sunny afternoon but forecasts have been rubbish lately. Any time I look up to see what weather will be like for one of our breaks it shows everything. They might as well say they don't know. Hope rain isn't too heavy for you Alfie.
Well only a week of August left so hope we are all lucky. No August wins for me so far! Comping fairy are you there?
Have a nice day everyone.

Good morning all, hope you are OK today.
We had lovely weather yesterday but it has rained most of the night by the look of it.
Off to do our shopping now.
Catch you later.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
Well .... decided in a light bulb moment  to scuttle
off down to the village while the rain wasn't so bad!!!!
Wrong move!!!!
(Get ready for quick rant ......)
The weather started like this ....
Got half way there and the heavens really opened:
.... luckily I had on wet weather gear and my
umbrella (always prepared) but what I wasn't
expecting was some useless car driver to take on a lake
in the middle of the Lane (at high speed I might add)
and they thoroughly drenched me from head to foot.
I'm afraid I turned round and mouthed 'you b*****d'!Doubt
they noticed but it made me feel a whole lot better.
As if that wasn't enough .... was waiting at the Zebra Crossing
and a bus driver pulled up to let me cross .... I always look
both ways anyhow until I move and I could see this car
hacking up the road ... they had no intention of slowing down or
stopping. They carried on in their own little world - not
a care in the world.
The bus driver couldn't believe it - nor could I!!!!
Most definitely was not a day for Alfie to be out!!
Anyhow - I'm back home now. dried off and raring to get
on with comps and decorating .... but gardening can wait
until the rain eases off.:rotfl:
