Been a hot day here too fire**fly I spent ages filling paddling pool up for kids getting up only for them to just dip their feet in!
Did you mange to get all your rosemary cut? I bet your garden smells lovely with all the herbs

Hope you get rid of all that spam Alfie. I haven't heard of that one.

Is it sept you go to Menorca Sheils? Won't be long now if it is! The kids are already towards the end of their third week!

Me and sis are doing a car boot sale tomorrow so hoping the rain stays off. Whatever doesn't sell is not coming back with me!

Good morning everyone!

Hope you are all well on this sunny start to Sunday.

It was sweltering here yesterday and very muggy through
the night. Think it's going to be the same today .... :p

May have to get the hosepipe out to revive the garden
although rain is predicted here for Monday to Wednesday!
Will wait until later to decide - I'm sure once I haul the
hosepipe out, the heavens will open.

Got things to do as wasted most of yesterday faffing over
the email issue. :eek:

Morning,


Been raining all night here and still drizzly. Don't think today is going to be great here or in Blackpool although supposed to dry up.
Taking water with us to Blackpool as you have to boil it there at the moment and shops have about sold out of bottled water! Only there for one night anyway before we are off to Telford area. Hoping to see the Air Show today so hope it isn't too cloudy.


Good luck with boot sale wingo. Yes off to Menorca on 5th September.

Must get on.

Morning peeps. Bit dull here but not cold. Have workmen out in the courtyard this morning they are fixing a bit of the roof which was only redone five years ago. So scaffolding going up which makes a lie in for anyone just about impossible. Are you staying somewhere nice in Blackpool shiels? Know it well was like a second home to me when I was working along with Manchester and London and Brighton. Hope everyone has a lovely day whatever you have planned. Alfie if you get some rain could you keep it for yourself please lol

Just at Premier Inn at Bispham rose (£35) It is nice there though as have stayed a few times. Used to stay a lot at The Sheraton but prices have gone up a lot there and it is good to have plenty of free parking like Premier Inn has. Off to nice (I hope) country hotel tomorrow near Telford.
