Sounds like you have had a lovely day Katie.

The Now TV Box is very good, so I've heard.

It's been a sunny/very warm day here so I am just
relaxing for a bit. The gardening can wait - it's too warm
to be out there at the moment. :cool: Needs to cool down
a bit then I've got to go out and hand water plants that
look in need of a good drink!

Evening folks. Just about jumped out my skin a short while ago. Sky went dark then there was loud rumbles and the loudest bang of thunder. It stopped as quickly as it started.

Yes been lovely here Sheils although overcast now. Hope Windows 10 is OK for you Sheils, DH has it and has not problems so far.

Good idea to wait a bit for Windows 10 firefly. I have been having problems updating on windows 8 for a couple of months now and tried to download 10 but it still wont't do that either. Will have to ring up and find out what the problem is as I have a maintenance contract with now lap top.

hi sylv, i just think it's best to wait for a bit with downloading
windows 10 while Microsoft sort out all the updates for it &
other servers/software companies update,
through experience I've found it's better to do a clean
install when the time's right so there's no previous
OS in the background,
some peeps are having a few probs with it so
i'd sooner wait for a bit till it's all sorted


has some rumbles here not along ago as well rose,
think we may be getting a storm brewing
hope so as it will clear the air as it's feeling
very muggy here,

There have been lots of lovely wins in the Inn this week so many congratulations to the winners.

No wins for me this month as yet.

I'm not going to download Windows 10 on the laptop for a few months - that should be enough time for Microsoft to sort out any issues.

Glad it's the weekend as this was my first week back at work after a fortnight off. My summer holiday is now a distant memory, and the rotten weather in Scotland is not helping! Where's the summer gone?

Hope everyone is well and winning this month. I haven't had no wins but I think I got one too many £5 LTS vouchers from postal surveys! Got £20 of them in the last couple months so I might save them up for Xmas.
Had a good day yesterday at flamingo and my brother talked me into going on a roller coaster which I hated! I was the only one who screamed all the way! I used to love them but now I'm terrified! Still a good day though and weather was gorgeous, plus we stayed there a bit longer and ended up live on TV on Look North!

Good morning everyone!

It's going to be a sunny and hot Saturday here. :cool: Back to
hand watering the garden!

Must admit, it did get rather muggy here yesterday and
thought I could hear distant rumblings of thunder but
nothing came of it ..... shame .... a good storm would
have cleared the air.

Talking of Windows 10 ..... I still have Windows 7 on my
little lappy! Think it was on it when I was lucky enough
to win it! :eek:

I see a little Windows icon has appeared telling me to
'Get Windows 10' but ....... as my present Windows 7 is
working perfectly well ...... I don't see the need to update
it yet so I am going to resist! I'm the same as you wingo -
I hate change.

Great you had a wonderful time at Flamingo Land .... I used
to love roller coasters too but nowadays I'm not so sure! Nice
to see you all ended up on TV! :T

Well, have fed and watered the animals so off out now to
feed and water the garden wildlife.
