Morning everyone dull and wet here.(again) Don't think we are going to get much of a summer up here now. Kids go back to school next week and son is of to sea in a couple of weeks. Anyone noticed that wasps are huge this year? Not seen many but the ones I have were a bit scary. Have a lucky day everyone

hiya rose :wave: yes, we've had some big wasps here,
bumblebees seem bigger as well :eek:
am wondering if it's the funny weather we're having
that's causing it I had to sweep down the back of the shed
the other day again as we've a wasp that keeps coming
back to the same spot trying to build a nest again!
suns come out here now & clouds are disappearing so I
think they got our weather forecast wrong again :rotfl:

I've noticed that too - bigger bumble bees, wasps..............
spiders! :eek::eek:

Just trying to sort the loo out in upstairs bathroom - had
my head stuck in cistern for last 2 hours trying to
sort out problem :eek: Think I'm getting there ...... sort
of.

Will let you know later if my errrm non-existent plumbing
skills have come in useful. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hi everyone, thanks for the well wishes for Sukie. Rang vets4pets here and they are going to confer with The Durham surgery. Have app for 4pm. She is not eating or drinking much so will have to resolve it one way or another.

It has rained during the night here and we have big black clouds.

Afternoon peeps. Good luck at vet sylvia hope everything turns out ok. Postie brought me a book The Woman Who Stole My Life by Marian Keyes. I am a fan so looking forward to a good read. Good luck with plumbing Alfie. I remember when the brushes went on my previous washing machine Son came in when I had the back of it putting new ones in He was horrified he said to me this is going to cost you a fortune to get someone to put right. But I had watched it being done before and I completed it successfully so he had to eat his words. Never had a critisism from him since when I tackle something lol. When I need a professional I will call one in but I am not paying for something I can do myself.

Well done on the book win Rose.

Thanks firefly, been trying to keep busy cleaning as can't concentrate on anything until I have been to vet. Trouble is week get too attached to them. Will let you know when we get back.
