Good Morning,
Sun shining so hope it stays that way. Seem to be having more rain and showers than other places just now.
Nice to see you back Sylvia and good luck catching up.
I don't seem to have time to enter very many comps just now. Been adding days to our breaks and working out things to do on them etc as well as gardening and housework.
My weed killer didn't work either!
Hope everyone has a really lucky week.

Morning everyone. Cloudy here this morning but sun is trying its hardest to come through. Rain overnight. Had a great weekend. Spent most of Saturday and Sunday making up salads and baked potatoes, wedges , coleslaw etc for BBQ we had yesterday at DS and DIL's. They are thrilled to bits with BBQ.. Son is working tomorrow so he does not intend doing much to celebrate so banners and balloons etc were put up yesterday. Had a few glasses of vino and so did the other adults. GKD's passed out around 7.30pm so early night for them as school today. Citronella candles were burning to keep midges at bay. So we were able to sit out till about 9pm then home. (cardies were on though) Hope everyone has a great day.0

Good morning all, not sure what the weather is going to do today here its very sultry at the moment.
Loving the pics today everyone thanks.
Good to see you have got your zoo sorted early if its going to be hot firefly.
Sounds like you had a really busy day yesterday Indie doing two shifts.
Glad you enjoyed your BBQ Rose sounds like you had fun.
Poor Jasper Wingo. Lottie loves her football, she uses her nose to push it around the garden but we have to hide it when my DD's dog comes up to stay as she bursts it within a minute.
The comps will still be around when you get back from your trips Sheils, enjoy them while you can.
Off to town to get some shopping in.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
It's warm here but not quite a heatwave yet!
Just been to tesco to do a bit of shopping. DH had £60 in bank until payday tomorrow so we tried to work it out so he wouldn't go into his overdraft. Then I found a nice top reduced to £2 but DH said we had enough and it came to £60.27p:rotfl: Looks like he went into OD after all!
I bet the BBQ is lovely RoseDefinitely the weather for it!
I don't know how you manage to get all the garden sorted and animals/feeders etc watered every day fire**fly :A I only had one plant and DH let that get ruined while I was in hospital!
I think your dog was like barnabysue's dog AlfieShe once showed me a funny video of her boxer dog pinching her socks off her feet and running off with it!
Ours just like slippers and doesn't like the fact I got another new pair and haven't given him my old slippers yet!
You're Lottie is just too cute SylviaI love the pics when she's had a trim!
Sheils, I bet your wins will come when you least expect them even if you haven't entered many! Saying that I think I would rather have a break away anywayHope you get the sun your way
I could do with cutting the grass but don't what to risk it just yet. DH having a nap before work. The kids want the paddling pool up.Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
lol, I get up early wingo & get organised with them for the day,
then it's just a case of topping them up & pottering
in & out seeing to them,
loving the great pics today thanks all :jplease be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
Hey Wingo, don't you dare cut the grass its far too soon to be doing things like that. You need to get your DH to cut it for you. Please, do take care.
I'm not quite sure how you manage to get everything done each day firefly, but I know you are extremely organised and thats the way to go if you have lots to do. I try to be but family take over sometimes and I am not able to comp for a week or so but DH always keeps plodding on with them. We have a sysstem where we split the comps up. DH usually does the dailies and I keep the main board and weekly/monthly mags going so it works quite well for us.
Its turned out lovely here, we had lunch in the garden, a nice egg salad and a banana.
Hope there are some last minute wins in the Inn before the end of month, good luck everyone.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
Afternoon peeps looks like we are going to have a downpour shortly. Police helicopter is also out whatever is going on. Have made some sausage rolls, traditional and some with onion. So going to stick most of them in freezer for cooking later when needed. Also going to have one with some beans for my dinner. Getting a bit jealous of all the good weather down south. Looks lovely at Wimbledon0
