Sylvia, it's so lovely of DH to do your comps for you I wish I could get DH involved! If it doesn't say football on it...he ain't interested!

I shouldn't moan at him he did cut the grass for me yesterday (after a few hints!) Gonna get the paddling pool filled up for kids coming in from school to cool them down. I was sick again last night so ended up going to bed early. I thought it would all be out my system by now! I feel ok today though.

Here we have just come in and it is so hot out there I can't think straight.

We had a great weekend with my sister and BiL but it was so hot and the trains out of London were up the creek. Huge crowds up there at Greenwich. Yesterday we went to Chartwell, Churchill's home a National Trust property all had a great time.

Wingo please take care of yourself. Please don't go back to work too soon you could easily pick up an infection. Family and work need you well and the holidays are coming. You are more important than work just now.
Hope your children enjoy the pool this evening.

Indie my sister was also talking about the retirement age. Her state pension starts at 67! How we let all that go through with no one making a big fuss I don't know.

Rose Happy Birthday to your son. Great they enjoyed the barbecue and you had a good weekend. Great tip about the midges.

Sun finally came out here about 5pm. It was warm enough earlier though but not the same when sun not out.
Won a box of Snickers on a Keystore FB Comp so nice finish to the month. Shame I won't be able to bring them in and give everyone one when they arrive.
Got the beds changed and managed to visit my aunt too so quite a busy day.


Happy birthday to your DS rose. My DS1 will be 32 next month, don't know if he feels old but it makes me feel old.

Well I normally love the sun but today was just overpowering and it's going to get hotter tomorrow! I was worn out though filling the pool for the kids! My sis invited me & DD2 to go to hers after tea to let DD play on the big inflatable water slide she had. I tried to sit in shade but still ended up catching sun!
My bro got took back in hospital today. Hopefully it's just until tomorrow. He went for routine bloods and they called him back before he got out of car park to say one of his blood levels was dangerously low so they needed to give him drug infusion and keep him on heart monitor. Sometimes it's common in transplant patients for this to happen so hopefully they've caught him in time.

Sun shining here so hoping to get a nice day. More rain forecast for tonight - sorry I can't sent it to you Alfie.


Hope your brother is OK wingo. My cousin's partner is pretty ill just now and needing dialysis up to 4 times a week so I hope a donor can be found for him. They have both got so thin. Snickers are being posted but could have collected easily as Keystore down the town.
