Thanks, that's fair enough. :-) I'm thinking of alternating days - doing a mag day and a CTW day so I have good coverage. Also I'm trying not to be greedy, by just going for what prizes I'll genuinely use.

Living on the bread line so treats for us are rare, my wife is working overtime to keep bills paid. So I'm really enjoying this as a hobby and looking forward to my first win, even if it will be something small!!

Yaaaaaaay clouds have cleared and sun is shining it is really warm now. DIL phoned son is finishing at mid day so BBQ is coming out tonight. Nipped down to shops for a few things to take over. He is making the most of it whilst he can as he has now joined his boat (Submarine) and is leaving shortly. He will be away till after NewYear.May stay over tonight as he is off tomorrow and Friday as well. So it will be a sort of belated birthday celebration for him. Wingo only going to physio once a week now it seems ok so op seems to have done the trick. Can't really lift anything heavy but will get there. Well done on win ff. Wellcome to the inn Mclovin. I dont really have a formula just do what I feel like doing at the time. Wingo goodness thank god they detected that quickly in your brothers tests . Wishing him all my best wishes. You take care as well hon and do be overdoing it especially in this hot weather. Just had a phone call from GS can I bring him and GD some ice cream (They only get it as a treat at home) so will have to nip up to lidl for some will also get some ice lollies for them as well lol will probably get some dirty looks from DS when I pull them out but he can't do anything about it once I have handed them over to them lol

I'm with wingo and rose on entering things. Got no real
order of things really - just dip in and out and keep
everything crossed for a win for comps that I have
entered.

This is why these days, I never win that much! :rotfl::rotfl:


Best of luck to you though, sometimes the little surprise
wins are the best - gives you the ooomph to carry on - you
will find it can be very addictive. :D:D

I'm usually located outside working in my garden - but
today it's too warm to be doing much - may have to find a
little shady spot out there to do something or t'other. :D

Hi McLovin and welcome to the Inn. Just pop in when you can and have a chat it keeps you going. The thing is to just keep plodding, we don't have a lot either so every little helps. We have managed to get some lovely things around the house since we have been comping. Just don't get disheartened do it because you enjoy it and then if you win its a bonus.

Well done on your win firefly. I too have had a 1st of the month win from Country Living daily (off to thank OP). Have won a 5 pcs knife set and block. Will be keeping this one ourselves and very pleased with this win.

Thanks all for the advice. Popping over to the in-laws soon for a cuppa and to do some cheeky comping whilst they spend some time with the kids!

Goodness Alfie rain has gone here or I would send you some of mine at any time.(you would be flooded with your earth being so dry) Just glad of sunshine here. We do not get that much sunshine compared to the south but when it shines it shines.:D
