Just had a nightmare. Went to MSE and up came new format in my present state after the heat to day that was just too much. Somehow I am now logged in to new format. Thank goodness.

I can still hear rumbles of thunder here although it sounds more distant than earlier. The girls were petrified coming home from school in the lightning! Strangely enough though it wasn't raining! Wierd weather!

Well - very hot n' muggy here through the night so
sleeping was a tad difficult. :eek:

No rain or thunder either to clear the air just
a bit! As you say wingo - the weather is just plain
weird! :p Must try even harder with the rain

Good Morning,


We had thunder and lightning through the night and torrential rain and it hadn't even been hot since about 1pm. Fed up of missing everyone elses good weather! Forecast is for cloud and a high of 17C today so not happy. Hope the weather stays nice in Skegness for next week. At least no bother sleeping I suppose (apart from thunder and rain)
Ironing today I'm afraid.
DD gets her school holidays today but she is staying off as all her friends are.

Terribly hot here in the night. DH had football on iPad. I eventually went to sleep when we are normally waking up. Dull and heavy now still hot but not quite so bad.

Really hot night here with thunder and lightening and rain. Its going to be a roaster here today.

Sorry you havent had rain yet Alfie will do the rain dance for you tonight. Our grass is absolutely soaking wet here. Strange weather.

Apparently we had huge hailstones somewhere in the north east too that put greenhouses through! There was also thunderstorms that set roofs on fire! :eek: definitely freaky weather!

Hope you get your rain Alfie and hope you get your sun Sheils! You should swap houses for a week!

Ooh I could do with one of those ceiling fans fire**fly We asked mam & dad before if they wanted one in the bedroom but dad gets too cold and mam gets too hot! I like to just lay on top of bed when it's like this

Hubby is in a grump today. My brother was grumpy yesterday and my friend said her hubby was too! Must be men's moaning week then!
