Sun shining away here now.
Have been over to see my aunt and she is doing well. The funeral can't be held until Friday so we aren't able to go which I am upset about. She is OK about it and uncle wouldn't have wanted us to cancel our break. Thought about cancelling first night away but then if we waited for funeral we wouldn't get to next booked destination until late at night. It is just a service at the graveside so will just go up and pay our respects when we get home again.

Hi Sheils, I am sure your family will understand that you have already booked. Big hugs for you all.

I agree with Sheils Wingo you are very brave. We will be thinking of you, you take care and get yourself well again before you go back to work. Hope the children are not too disappointed and not going abroad this year. Passports are expensive to renew too which adds to the price. Maybe next year. Was there any particular reason why he wanted to go to Barcelona?

Have been to see DD's new house, she has a week to move. Its a lovely spacious house so hopefully it will be better for them. Have got all my DD1's family washing, 2 hugs bags of it, as I thought it was one way of helping her not to have to worry about getting uniforms etc ready. I am a glutten for punishment.

Just had a heavy shower but the sun is out now so goodness knows
what the weather will do next!
Thanks for reminder FF and enjoy your garden Alfie.
I had better get on top of the washing and ironing as it is building again. Will have to have a look and see what we are going to do on our Highland break which is 5 night in different towns, starting on Thursday. Really excited about it as most of it will be new to me and scenery completely different to most places. Hoping to see DS2 as well. Still upset about missing funeral but everything booked and paid for and can't be altered. If I cancelled the first two nights it is too far to drive to the next place in a day. Wanted to do this trip for a long time too. Uncle had Alzheimers and always asked where we were going our holidays every time we saw him. My aunt and him were always going somewhere when they were younger - probably inspired me to do the same.
