It's a bit humid here and I've sneezed most of morning! I saw on weather forecast about the thunderstorms fire**fly but I think it's bypassing us (hope so anyway!)

I'm at a friends funeral today so hope it doesn't rain.
I've just sent for a paddling pool & swingball for kids to do a treasure hunt for them next week as a nice surprise. Hope they don't find it before that!

Love the pic Wingo. Just how I feel today. Site going slow and don't know where I am with comps so back to washing etc.

Not sure what the weather is doing now wingo - had hoped
for some sunshine but it's not happening at the mo! Did big
wash and just about to hang it out so fingers crossed that
it stays dry! Having said that - the sun is just coming out!
Yippee! Time to get the pegs out and get the washing out
before the weather changes again!

Will be thinking of you at friends funeral today, I do hope
the rain stays away. :A

Been shopping - mainly food as cupboards were bare.


Hope funeral goes OK wingo. We are just waiting to hear news on another of my uncles. He is in his 80s and has Alzheimers so not as sad as I would otherwise have been. He has developed pneumonia and it isn't looking good. Haven't been able to speak to my aunt as she is at the hospital and my parents are in Spain. They come home on Sunday though so glad they got their holiday OK.


Hope everyone gets their washing dry. I am waiting on sun coming out before I risk mine. New washing machine great, old one kept stopping!

Sorry about not posting earlier. It was funny I was doing well with my post and then said "firefly have to agree MSE is hopeless at the moment" and then FORGOT TO SAVE IT before posting and of course it failed :rotfl::rotfl:

Hope all went well at the funeral Wingo. Was wondering how long you would be in hospital for? Good idea to get something in for a treasure hunt for the kids while you are away. You are such a sweetie.

Glad you managed your shopping and washing Sheils. I have yet more bedding to wash after Sister went. Think I will open a laundry Big hugs for your family and glad you parents managed to get their holiday in and hope they had a good time.

Big hugs for you Rose and hope you are continuing to improve each day.

Wow postman brought £20 Subbuteo Wildlife book vouchers this afternoon!

It says from the May code word Puzzle but I can't find it.

That's my second book win this week. They have some great children's books so will put by for Christmas for Gks.
