Glad you had good day too FF. I have let DH get a drink now
None of taxi firms answering phone. Poor DS3 was working and couldn't get a taxi to go back out with so would get wet.

Yes, DS decided to get wet! He is of to see grandparents and then g/f and as not working tomorrow don't suppose we will see him again tonight

Hope DH's drink was well worth the wait Sheils Is the taxis double time for you there? I think they are around here. There's lots of police about on the roads here too.

I've just been to bro's house for a quiet family drink. I expect Sylvia will have had a nukie B to drink Hope you had a good night Sylvia!

My clumsy son almost set fire to bro's house! He couldn't resist kicking a football in the house which hit a glass of orange that was left on mantelpiece, just missing a Yankee candle but the glass smashed everywhere and the orange hit the TV. Luckily the TV came back on but it could have been much worse if it knocked the candle off!

hiya wingo, had a couple of drinks to see the new year
in last night but didn't bother much over the Christmas time,
had a drink with Christmas dinner & a couple on Christmas eve
but that's about all :eek::D
can't be bothered with it much now days :eek:
hope everythings ok your end with the police out,
gosh, that was lucky not much damage done with the
football & candle x

I know, I went mad with him for kicking ball. I know he never meant it yo happen but he's just so clumsy at times!
I can't really be bothered much having a drink either. I wouldn't want to jeopardise anything anyway for February so just had sips of wine when celebrating.
The police are probably cracking down on drink drivers round here. There's always idiots near parents way flying about on trial bikes on pavements too!

oh wingo, think we've all done it when younger
I remember playing 2 ball in grandmas house,
even though I was told not to
& broke one of her best ornaments
was in bad books for weeks & had no pocket money
for ages to pay for it
daft things we do when we're young :eek::o

well, I hope everyone has a lovely day whatever you've planned,
i'm helping out later with the staff clearing away all the
decs & Christmas stuff & getting my place sorted
hols are over now & need to get back to a
reg routine again :eek:

Sounds like you have our rain FF. Looking ok here but a bit windy.
Will be taking our decorations down too.
Still a holiday in Scotland so no mail or anything.


Glad TV wasn't damaged wingo. My DS3 is so clumsy too. He is always breaking things especially glasses.
