Good morning all and a happy new year to everyone.

Just managed a quick pop in while DH is off his lappie. The Internet is useless here.

Looks like you have all had a good time over the past week.

Went out with my DD1 and family for a meal and then went to watch Paddington bear at the cinema. Was a lovely evening.

Will catch up with you again when I can or when we get back onSunday.

Hope you all get some wins soon.

Oh I love paddington, I'm considering taking the girls to watch it again!

Our new year was interesting. We let our 8 year old stay up for the first time. She's terrible out of a routine and combined with tiredness and losing a board game we had hysteria to the point of no return.
Interestingly as soon as the hootannany came on she calmed down, but then we had hysteria again when the fireworks outside started (petrified of them even though they where nowhere near us! ). I think we will leave it a couple of years :rotfl:

We did manage to have a lovely evening last night, my eldest is 15 and babysat while we went two doors down to the Indian for a lovely meal and then came back and watched Miranda and Eastenders special. Lovely quality time with my husband that I don't often get. And the 8 year old was sparko from the night before so it paid off to keep her up in the end :T

Morning all I'm also about to take my decorations down! Kids aren't happy but we need to get back into a routine!

Aw that's lovely having your son to babysit MrsEmma I think we need quality time out without the kids once in a while! My eldest is 15 but her and youngest DD tend to fight now, mainly youngest tormenting her!

It's quite windy here and was through night too. Hope it calms down!

Afternoon, I have just had an e-mail ref a win from a comp that ended end of October and asking for a picture with my prize...didn't get a prize or an e-mail telling me i had won. So have asked them to look into it for me.Begining to think my mail is going missing as in October i had vouchers go missing luckily they were to sign for so i was sent new ones and my boy had 2 parcels go missing from Amazon that had been sent, he got refunded but just funny these things are happening.What do you think, have you had things go missing in the post? Anyway off to work now for a late shift.

Afternoon everyone hope you are all well. It is freezing here today and quite windy. Rain has stopped though thank goodness had some sleet earlier. Grandson phoned earlier to see if I wanted to go out to dinner with him lol son was laughing his head off as he was meant to ask if I wanted to go to dinner with them. We are going to indian restaurant across the road from me it is really very good. Very quiet here think everyone is sleeping of their hangovers.
