Well done on the win indie :j enjoy your day off
I'm sick of all the April fools jokes, especially getting prank WEM's to say I won!
On the plus side, I put my lottery online and I always buy an online scratch with it and won £20 so withdrew it
Hope it's nice for everyone weather wise. It's a lot calmer here now and suns back out.
Is it nice in Whitby sheils? I got one of those time hop things on fb and I was there two yrs ago today and weather was nice then!
I've been meaning to ask fire**fly, do you know of a way that stops cats digging bulbs up from flowering tubs? I remember someone mention something before but can't remember who it was. My dad is getting annoyed with the neighbouring cats! He's always had lovely flowers in the front garden tubs but can't lately as they constantly dig them up!
I've only gone & missed DD's blood test at dr's.It was at 12 today and I thought it was at 5pm! I've got that many appointments in my head, I even had it written down! Grrrr!
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -

I've always used chicken wire in mine wingo,
also helps stop the squirrels pinching them!
someone told me years ago about it & every year when
planting new bulbs/&/or replacing soil in the tubs have always
used it,
think I mentioned it last year on here,
i'll try to find a link for itplease be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
Good idea thanks fire**fly :A I will mention it to dad
I did enjoy my bath SylviaAlthough I didn't appreciate son banging on door for toilet the minute I stepped in!
It's always when it's my bath time!

Aw wingo we all forget at times and with what you have got going on noone can blame you. Neighbour phoned me down she is off sick with a chest infection. She has had no milk since yesterday afternoon and was dying for a cuppa. Went up and gave her a telling off that she didn't phone me then. Checked her fridge and cupboards to see what else she needed and got her to write a list so have replenished them from supermarket and gave her up some soup and a couple of meals from freezer so that she can either stick them in microwave or oven. Also told her if she needs anything else to phone me and not to wait. Will go up later and see she is ok as she is now tucked up on couch with TV on and everything she needs on table beside her.0

Well done on your win Indie, nice one.
Well done on your scratch card win Wingo. Hope you manage to get another appointment soon. Typical Son wanting toilet just as your in the bath. Mine always did the same.
Good idea about the chicken wire firefly. We don't seem to have a problem here as there is only one cat near us and he is too old to jump the fence now.
I love the way you look out for your neighbors Rose. Don't think anyone around here would notice you were ill although they are all nice peeps.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0
