freespirit I've not seen the Guinness and gingerbread cake, I shall look it up as DH loves Guinness.
mandco i'm afraid I don't think I've seen Back to the Future so can't help with a costume. Have you had any luck?
mrs-moneypenny arrgghh there's nothing more frustrating that having to unpick cross stitch! Glad you're back on track now. I'm not sure about the online Christmas radio station but I listen to Smooth Xmas on the digital radio.
MoneyMission wow this Girdlebuster pie sounds amazing! I shall have to look it up!
Hello Crowdpleaser! That's amazing that you get the whole of Christmas off, how exciting! I used to have a job like that and I loved it. I don't work now so technically I do have it off, as much as you can have 'time off' with a baby!
Peppapig aw bless you, of course these things are going to get to you sometimes, you can't be strong all the time. And as you say, you feel better for it so it's something you need to do. I'm sorry your DH wasn't so good and it upset you, I hope he is a bit better now. I'm glad you got to go away. Sending you lots of love and hugs. I know how you feel about summer and autumn, it's great being able to get out and about with Wiggle in the nice weather, but I also long for cosy jumpers/cardigans/socks/blankets! I finished watching the Grinch yesterday so I was in snowy winterland, then looked out the window and the sun was shining - it was really weird! That'll teach me for watching a Christmas film this early!
Well I've bought a few more things on my Christmas list; a 2016 diary for a friend, a scarf for a friend, some tinned food for my auntie's food hamper, fluffy socks for me for our Christmas Eve hamper and some brown Kraft paper for wrapping the Christmas presents. It was great to get a few more bits however there's still a lot I can't buy yet. I will keep plodding on with the bits I can do. I'm excited as we've just started putting Wiggle in pyjamas and blankets in his cot rather than a sleeping bag, so I get to buy him Christmas pyjamas for the Christmas Eve hamper. Will have to keep my eye out or wait for someone to report back on here!0 -
Anyone with Dinosaur mad kids, this set is now £1.79 down from £6.99.
I've bought 3 sets as gifts. They are quite big and they move. 3 dinosaurs in each set.

I used to, but haven't this year as I've been really busy and forgot lol Its not too bad for me as if I follow the plans I can easily catch up with anything I could have done on the rudolph daysCreeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Got some bits for my girls stockings today and some walking dead t shirts for my eldest from primark. Can't wait till I can get to the shops without the kids so I can look without them distracting me with something else.0

Had a lovely day stitching my stocking and listening to smooth Christmas, my son asked if I'd been at the sherry early when he got home from school And heard Christmas songs. Might knit christmas bootees later while watching a DVD ( not Christmas ones yet we are trying to work through breaking bad)SPC~12 ot 124

nicki ooh looking forward to seeing your upcoming window displays!
OMO yes those tubs usually go down to £4. I'm pretty sure one year they went down to £3.50 somewhere briefly!
mrs-moneypenny I didn't realise Smooth Christmas radio was online now!
I popped into The Works earlier and they had some Christmas stuff out, mostly decorations, puzzles and craft stuff such as make your own hot water bottle cover/stocking etc. I also saw these notebooks for £1 that I thought would make a good stocking filler for any Star Wars fans:0 -
Evening everyone!
I've decided it's officially autumn, because I've just had my fringe cut back in, and that only happens when it's not hot enough to stick to my face anymore. Hooray!
Has anyone else been noticing the Christmas emails floating into their inboxes? Had one from Harrods about their grotto the other day, and I've had them from various restaurants about booking my Christmas party! We also had a 'save the date' email from our office manager for our Christmas party - 4th December!
Also, if anyone's planning an Amazon order soon, there's a Dove washbag giftset for £3.99 down from £12, which would make a nice present. When I clicked through to that it came up with lots of other reduced giftsets, Lynx etc., so good if you're looking for that sort of thing!0
