And you get other days off instead - or are your employer breaking the law in not allowing you any days' holiday during the year?0 -
As the only businesses listing 'new' jobs on UJM over Christmas eve - Boxing day tend to be on-line sites using scripts to auto-list the same jobs every day regardless of whether or not they are still available, I won't be looking myself.Never Knowingly Understood.

My advisor suggested that if the number of jobsearch actions was at least the required number they'd be unlikely to check individual days.0

If you job search on a bank holiday will they pay you double-time in your benefits,Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

Anyway JC would never expect people to job search on Xmas day, just like they never expected job search 7 days a week, whatever some have assumed or been told by others.

We don't all get double time for all bank holidays either. I know I only get it for Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Get no extra for any of the other bank holidays. Yes I did take it off earlier in the year.
I'd have thought it would be a normal day for searching for jobs though, but as long as you meet the required amount I'm sure there ok about it.
But I will say the amount of moaning people do about job searching requirements surprises me sometimes.:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one:beer::beer::beer:
