yes, traditionally it goes to 70% online in the early hours of the same day the instore 70% sale starts (it was 5am in jan 2014).

For years now, it has usually been the third Wednesday of January. There have been a few times when a few stores have gone a week early, but the general sale date has been the third Wednesday. This year though, that would be 21st January - which is late.

I know about Boots sale dates - my two children were born on 20th January and 16th January, and were both two weeks overdue - so trailing round boots two weeks overdue wasn't much fun lol!
With my little boy, I went to the Boots sale on the way to hospital to be induced. There's dedication (or madness) for you :rotfl::rotfl:

I am not the only obsessive - several people at work have already booked the third Wednesday off work and have organised childcare!

And inevitably the site is glitchy, baskets empty, then the site crashes ...... it was a disaster each time I tried online.

I've bought the last 2 years online didn't learn from the first year though that anything over about 6 items is classed as a large order and they leave large orders until last to process so even though I have ordered in early hours of the morning I've had items cancelled as they have sold out by the time they process my order!

The 70% sale will be Wednesday 14th January - it's always the Wednesday second week in January.


If the stocks not gone by then they aren't likely to sell much else
and they'll want to get rid of everything and have the stores looking fresh for the spring season stock & Valentines Day / Mother's Day etc...
