Swansea Quadrant, yesterday, was disappointing, nothing that I wanted at all. Lots of Sanctuary sets still.


Fforestfach was more than half empty, with broken packets and opened sets. Quite a lot of perfume sets like Yardley etc

Yep, nothing announced yet but I think it might be a week earlier this time to free space up in the shops for the week after.

Do they normally keep the Star Gift going throughout the sale as apparently there is a new one on Thursday

I've never heard of the Star gifts happening after Christmas at all. Actually I'll re-phrase that.......... I don't remember there being star gifts after Christmas:o



I was in Boots today, 1st I've managed to cross the door since Christmas Day. Still loads left there which I was surprised at TBH. Loads of Sanctuary and Bench suff left. All but one type of S&G was gone, the only sets left were something to do with Oranges or something like that.

Managed to pick up a few gifts for Christmas next year and also for throughout the year. Teachers and Classroom assistant gifts are sorted for June already lol.
Have to say there was a better selection instore for me than there was online this year

The only things I didn't get which were what I wanted were the collection of teabags. There were 45 in individual sachets in a set marked at £10 before the sale. I was hoping to get 2 or 3 sets in the sale Oh well I'll do without lol

Oh I like that. I could get that for the teacher I work with for an end of year gift lol.
Would have normally said the kids teachers gifts, but I bought those today in the sale:o

Went into the much small Stratford Upon Avon town centre store today and managed to get one of the S&G gift sets I wanted at half price, well technically free as I used my points....

I went back to the Maybird store yesterday and it's well over half empty now. I seem to recall last year the stock not shifting all that well, this year don't seem to be the case, I really can't see there being all that much left for the 70% off sale!

Got some good bargains in the 75% boots sale last year. Its held on the 3rd Wednesday of January every year

It was a 70% sale last year

Got some great deals myself in it. Hoping for more online this year again.
