What were your best grabs?
my best one this year was the S&G Next Big Thing box - I've never seen any of their biggest sets instore in the 70% off sale in all the time I've been bootsing, and there were stacks of them in the first store i visited on Weds morning.

Not sure if anyone has posted this but a wee heads up...they are putting stuff up online on an ad-hoc basis but its not showing on the actual site and is easier to see on the app.
At the moment there are some things showing in stock but they aren't adding to the basket even though the site says it is!
These items all suddenly appeared and I managed to get two of them but they are now showing out of stock again but might be worth keeping an eye on as they might reappear again!
Ted Baker London Royally Relaxed Bubble Bath Decanter 500ml - £3.60
Sanctuary Wrap Yourself in Fragrance Body Wash and Lotion Set - £5.40
Sanctuary A Touch of Sparkle Body Butter 300ml - £3.00
Bench Wash Bag Set - £3.60
French Connection bath and body collection - £4.80:rotfl:Survey Queen/Poundland Fanatic:rotfl:0 -
Just tried to add some items that are still showing as in stock and although they are saying added to basket they aren't. Quick call to Boots and was told that they are now sold out and that the website will not be updated till Monday:rotfl:Survey Queen/Poundland Fanatic:rotfl:0

Once upon a time there were buttons on the website to screen out oos items: I wonder why they were removed.
Just back from the local branch - my 2 items were present and correct.I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
Does anyone else think Boots is really having a laugh with the original gift prices? I opened the Starbucks Cocoa Trio tin today to find literally three sachets of hot cocoa. Three! For ten quid originally. You've got to be kidding me. I felt ripped off paying £3!0

For anyone whose had a refund due to items oos...i just found this:
Why haven't I received all of my order?
A: There are a number of reasons why you may not have received all of your order. Before contacting us please check;- The despatch email to see if items have been cancelled. Occasionally when we pack an order some of the items may not be available. We don't want to delay the rest of your order so we cancel the out of stock item and despatch the rest. We'll send you an email to update you. The paperwork for your order will show everything included and we only charge you for the items we send but you will earn all of the Boots Advantage points we promised
i had 102 points deducted because of a refund and have just sent a complaint about the lack of my order! hth someone x0 -
The £45 French Connection box has a voucher in the bottom for 500 points when you spend £10 on any indulgent bathing product. Valid until 31st March0

I have come across the boots 70% sale by accident some years and have got some bits,I happened to be in Enfield on Wednesday and got several bits, mainly for gifts and a big soap and glory box for me I was thrilled keep on just looking at it. Some people had far more than you could carry one women was asking for a trolley to be found for her! nad then kept on asking the assistants to move the stuff to one side so no one else would get it. But it was all very civilized. I think you should only get what you can carry. When I got home I realized what bargains I had so went on a gift hunt today. Not much at Ilford but got come ciders with a very long sell by date in 2016 at least. Then onto Stratford Westfield lots of stuff there Ted Baker Jules Soap and glory and other bits busy but very civilised to staff were getting bits out and stocking the shelves at lunchtime. I had fun helping old ladies to choose bits to put in their present drawer. More gifts then loaded so went home by public transport and I was able to carry it! Why do people buy to sell on? not really fair . Other big Boots that people might like to try are Liverpool street ~Station one near Charring Cross Station Bond Street and High Street Kensington hope people manage to get bargains as well.:T:)0
