Evening all
Went into Leamington yesterday as I had an opticians and I popped into Boots (was checking stock of a prescription) town centre. Was surprised to see an aisle with some 70% left. There was FCUK, Katy Perry and Beyonc! perfume sets as well as afew bits and bobs there.:money::rotfl::T0 -
still loads of stuff in sheffield, nothing i wanted though :-( got some stuff online and happy with that0

I ordered 2 sanctuary sets, I paid £10 but they got reduced to £6.
The body butter was smashed in one of the sets, they're offering points for me to keep it (not enough to replace the single item).
It's heavy so the cost of postage will be high.
No offence and not to be rude but what exactly did you want?? They don't have to offer you anything TBH, if you aren't happy with the product you return it and receive a full refund. It's your choice if you want to keep it or not.
Also why are you posting it back to return it? Just return it to the store with your paperwork and they'll refund you there and then.Pay all debt off by Christmas 2025 £815.45/£3,000£1 a day challenge 2025 - £180/£730 Declutter a bag a week in 2025 11/52Lose 25lb - 10/25lbs Read 1 book per week - 5/52Pay off credit card debt 18%/100%0 -

Can't believe there are items left - The shine definitely seems to be coming off of the Boots sale, well for me at least anyway! For years I was outside stores for opening to grab the latest S&G set then staying up till the early hours to grab goodies in the then 75% off sale before heading to a store to stock up.
Hardly bothered with it this time - Spent about £25 in the sale compared with the usual £200+ it just seems like the same overpriced stuff each year that in some cases is hardly worth the 70% off price tag!Stand Up For What You Believe In, Even If It Means Standing Alone0 -

have you tried taking it back to store - Ive took things back when items have been missing and they give me the money back and let me buy it back at a lot cheaper price0 -

I agree. I think Boots need to have a serious word with themselves regarding their prices. I mean take the Beyonce sets that are still available everywhere but online, I'm assuming they are all the same ones that I bought on Saturday here. 4 small travel size perfumes, where you'll be lucky to get 10 uses out of them each and they were originally looking £28 for them:eek: I didn't even want to pay £8.40 for them TBH, but it is for a gift that my niece wants for her birthday tomorrow so it was bought.
The other things I bought were large items also, the likes of the JW bags and S&G boxes. I bought very few "little" things this year.Pay all debt off by Christmas 2025 £815.45/£3,000£1 a day challenge 2025 - £180/£730 Declutter a bag a week in 2025 11/52Lose 25lb - 10/25lbs Read 1 book per week - 5/52Pay off credit card debt 18%/100%0 -
I used to work for boots and their prices are so inflated that even sale price isnt great....the big packs are the best buy if you can get them other than that its tat ... I end up sending to charity shops or binning..so i try not to buy anymore to clutter the house just because it looks like a bargain0

This year I have got absolutely nothing. Still too expensive imo0

I resisted too, didn't even bother going in store to look... yet!0

Lots of Soap & Glory Onesies in Southampton Above Bar and the one down by Staples.
Quite a few Justin Bieber and other celeb perfumes.
I bought a Soap & Glory body butter (with a ribbon on, like a bauble) for £1.80......used points, that was the full extent of my Bootsing this sale.0
