Still quite abit left in Stratford Upon Avon Maybird store, mainly the celebrity perfume sets, didn't really look just noticed it as I was buying my lunch.
Seems like the bottom really has fell out of the Boots sale this year. Still there's plebty of it on EBay now!:money::rotfl::T0 -
Lets hope the bottom now drops off the ebay sellers0

I don't begrudge people trying to make money but the prices they are charging is ridiculous! Some of them selling at full price, with postage taking it up even more. I hope they don't sell and they are left with it all but I fear some will get sold:money::rotfl::T0 -

I mean take the Beyonce sets that are still available everywhere but online, I'm assuming they are all the same ones that I bought on Saturday here. 4 small travel size perfumes, where you'll be lucky to get 10 uses out of them each and they were originally looking £28 for them:eek: I didn't even want to pay £8.40 for them TBH, but it is for a gift that my niece wants for her birthday tomorrow so it was bought.
The other things I bought were large items also, the likes of the JW bags and S&G boxes. I bought very few "little" things this year.
70% off works out at 21p per ml of perfume which is actually very good value. I agree at full price and 50% off I wouldn't pay out for them. But the £8.40 price is a good way IMO to try out the scents.0 -
Compared to some of the other high street stores I think Boots are still worth a visit in the sales.
I've done a couple of orders both at half price (on items that i knew i wouldn't be able to get later) and at 70%.
I've managed to get most of my gifts for birthdays and christmas and stuff for myself too (couldn't resist the Ted Baker and French Connection boxes..... mkmm russ - thank you for the alert on the FC boxes).0 -
Disappointed that nothing is left online, I recall getting stuff for up to two weeks after the sale started. This years the day after everything seems to be gone and not coming back in stock.0

For years I was outside stores for opening to grab the latest S&G set then staying up till the early hours to grab goodies in the then 75% off sale before heading to a store to stock up.
Hardly bothered with it this time - Spent about £25 in the sale compared with the usual £200+ it just seems like the same overpriced stuff each year that in some cases is hardly worth the 70% off price tag!
Yup, last year i was in store at opening time, the year before just after and before that I picked up a few bits. This year I wandered in at lunchtime but didn't buy anything. I guess there's only so many washbag and toiletry sets you can gift to people over the years. Already done a fair bit of this year's xmas shopping, just elsewhere this time round.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

What happens when stuff is returned, does it go online again.
I am returning lots, not even worth the sale price. The jack wills bag for 19.50 for a few body lotions etc and I know half the stuff won't even be used.
Going to be more money saving this year and not just buy because "it was 70% off"0 -

As far as I'm aware if it's returned they don't resell it online. Eventually it will end up in th staff shop.0 -

Depends how it is returned. If you take it into store it might end up back on their shelf if they want it, or they return it to the warehouseIf you find you are drinking too much give this number a call. 0845 769 75550
