  • Got stung badly last year with dodgy deliveries. A lot of my items were badly damaged, if you give customer services a ring they will refund for you. Decided to go down click and collect this year and everything was intact!!!

I received a damaged click and collect order (50% off) and they've offered me some points. I'm not a boots regular and the points won't replace the damaged item so I think I'll return it. The item went down in price since I bought it which isn't the issue a couple of hundred points doesn't really seem worth keeping it for.

The Quote below is what I wrote yesterday so you can I've had hassle too . My casserole dish came in order no 2 which I made at 5am

Thanks for that, will be complaining to them later. I used the bonus 500 points wys £35, but seeing as £27 of my order has been refunded they've let me keep that and only took an extra 102 points. 500 points doesn't seem fair enough when about 90% of my order is missing lol.

I have a 5 month old + 2 yo so couldn't make it to store ;( will try my best for a baby sitter next yr i think!

I received my order today but two of the items were damaged - one being the French Connection set !!!! Have emailed customer services to see what they are willing to do for me !!
What normally happens does anyone know ?? x

in the past they normally refund the money and tell you to keep the items - good result normally

Really? I have emailed them, so we'll see what happens. The item is of no use to them so a refund or partial refund seems more appropriate I think.

If you are an advantage card holder they usually offer points as 'compensation' - When my S&G box was damaged last year that I got in the 70% off sale I contacted Customer Service and they loaded £10 in points onto my card.

yes it happened to me a couple of years ago - damaged boxes etc so you couldnt use them as gifts and they refunded me fully - I offered to take said items back to store and they told me to keep them
  • Finally I'm back... And alive to tell the tale :)
Well I have to say that my boots "ill-just-let-those-two-ladies-clear-out-that-isle-and-pick-at-what's-left" tactic wasn't employed this year. I decided to say bum to it and stand my ground :) got to my local Crayford store about 5min late (bloody traffic) and was surprised to find some nice pieces! Got the beautiful big sanctuary set and the FCUK ultimate set in the sale, lots of soap and glory, joules stuff, etc. finished there used all the vouchers I was sent and got lots of points...went to my other store in bexleyheath and got even nicer pieces there! Used all my vouchers again (to my surprise!) ordered 3 of the sanctuary sets and 4 jack wills bags online. Had MAJOR hassles with that but they have me £30 of points for the trouble!
So! All in all, I spent £180, got ALL of my Xmas and birthday pressies sorted for the year and only had to kill two people! (I kid, I kid)
Also! I had £31 of points before the sale started and now have £108 of points?!! AWESOME! Hope you all had a successful day!
    What were your best grabs?
Finally buying my first house in 2015!:j
    Savings Jar total on 11.10.15
Savings account £74,817. (house deposit money)
    Credit union £3,878.
    Debt- £0.00 :A

similar story in Vic centre Nottingham - its half-aisles here, but there are about 6 still with xmas stuff, and a back wall in the same area. Lots of Pauls Boutique make-up, Frank the monkey? everything, perfume sets, loads of Hello Kitty toiletries, Minnie nail sets, S&G onesies, cards and wrap, and loads of slippers.
