  • went cheshire oaks for 9am opening. about 10 of us waiting, quite calm. only 1 aisle this year. (3 last year)
loads of perfume, hello kitty, minnie mouse, soap&glory onesies, some bench stuff, and lots of wrapping paper. was finished and paid by 9.20

spent £26.40 saving £61.60 and used double points coupon so got 300 pts added to card.

worth going for getting my niece & nephews presents for birthdays/xmas
  • I just could not be chewed with the boots sale this year. There wasn't really anything I wanted that badly. It's odd but the fact that its now 70% off, rather than 75% off made it less exciting somehow! Couldn't resist logging in to hear everyone's tales though - that is one thing I will never tire of!

Was at Loughborough store at 8.30am, lots of people waiting, much more than there was last year.

Wanted S&G most of all but only thing left was the fragrance sets. Still happy with my haul though.
  • Loads of stuff left in Boots Victoria Centre in Nottingham. Worth a trip, everyone being polite by the time I arrived at 8.45.
  • No one in my small local this morning, no 70% signs up or anything. However I did manage to grab 2 of the No7 Ultimate Collection boxes and a No7 Lipgloss set. Very happy!!
April Wins - Copella Hamper, 2x biscuits, bag of chips, 2x vouchers for micro-chips, Tango goody bag!

Was just this minute able to order the Jack Wills bag online! It was the only thing I wanted for DD birthday.

Went for store opening at 8 in Taunton high st., maybe about 15 people outside but it got very crowded as the time went on. About 4 aisles of stuff and people were very civilised...I got bumped a few times by accident but there was always a "sorry!" Staff was lovely as well. I didn't need anything but ended up spending £40 in points and £40 in real money....but I might take some things back still! I always have a bit of buyer's remorse with these sales!

Saw one man carrying a massive stack of S&G gift sets, I wonder, do people actually make any money selling these on? If it's only a few quid after postage, fees, etc is it worth it?

    I like your style! :T

My OH is working until 3pm and i won't take my 2 yo and 5 mo out to the shops. Children and shopping don't mix, let alone when a sales on! Haha. Hope you've all sharpened your elbows ladies ;)

I just got back from taking my seven month old daughter to Nottingham Victoria Centre and my little lady wouldn't go in the pushchair so I had to carry her around and use her buggy as a big basket!

The shop was heaving but everyone seemed quite respectful, \lthough there were quite a lot of people standing at the sides of the shop "guarding" several baskets full of stuff.

There was oloads and I got 2 sanctuary mini tins, a champneys boxset, MLP haircase, a bench deodarant and boxers set, the big S&G set and a few male ones, a fisher price toy and a few other sets. I only spent £73.60, saving £172 :T
