If I put stuff in my basket ready for the sale will it empty my basket or will I just be able to check out ??? x

Website usually goes down for a few hours first so they can change the prices, so it would reset your basket.

maybe i was just lucky, but the website didn't empty my basket, everything (except the stuff which had gone out of stock in the meantime) was still there for me to check out on the morning that the sale started last year.

No it will empty your basket. We have tried that year after year and still haven't learnt our lesson:rotfl:

Surely they would be better pulling some of the stock back into the depot from stores with loads of the same and selling it at 50% online before the 70% offer starts.

Lincolnshire, My locals a nice small one where people don't think to look (I did very well with the big champneys sets a couple of years back) only 3 sets of shelving, but full of 2 items. Boots must ship them in as those shelves held a wide variety of xmas stock before xmas.

It didn't empty mine last year, Sale went live at 5am and I was checked out by 5.06am


Tip: don't forget to set up your quick checkout details beforehand, saves a whole load of faff.

I always have things in my basket and it doesnt empty when the sale starts - you may loose things as they go out of stock but that is all
