Whilst I have no sympathy in this instance, I wondered what others may think?

No excuse IMHO for using disabled facilities when you are not entitled to0

Agreed, no excuse on public highway, unless he was collecting a disabled person or if he was disabled (but under the statute a Blue badge is needed immediately).
But he is an idiot if he thinks there is an 8 HOUR(!) grace period before a car can be towed - no way! It's more like 15 minutes and in some London Boroughs they tow immediately (which is their downfall in fact, and is the reason most towaway cases on pepipoo forum can be appealed & won with a full refund, PCN and all).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

This sort of thing has been done to death and back on this forum.
No one one here is going to condone the misuse of disabled spaces onstreet or in private car parks including misuse by private parking companies. My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -

Could have been dealt with in fifteen minutes! !!!!!!. Not just for parking there in the first place but then for sitting there for seven hours just to save £105. Doesn't have much self-respect does he, let alone respect for anyone else?Je suis Charlie.0

I admire the man immensely, the little man takes on the over-mighty state and beats it. We need more of his sort.
What is so heinous about parking in a BB space anyway, especially if you did not mean to. There are too many empty BB spaces in the not a city of Reading anyway. I am sure that our twice convicted for gross indecency transport supremo, sees them as a cash cow.
Only the other day my wife parked in a disabled bay at Lidl in South Reading, the pictogram was all but invisible.
BB holders in this country are far too privileged, why do that get free parking, one BB holder in NACR drives a Bentley, why do they cross the Severn Bridge for free? You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -

Not an option, every arrest must be accompanied by 5 hours paperwork. A better alternative would have been for Plod to have told clampit to sling his hook and given chummy a rollicking. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
Any news on your Blue Badge rejection appeal TD?Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

It would appear that he is a selfish idiot that thinks that the law doesn't apply to him.
Perhaps he should apply for a job at a PPC ?:j0
