    You said mini van, what do you mean? I'd assumed that was like a people carrier, or do you mean one of the small car sized vans?

    Even if it's a transit sized van, if you hired it privately, that doesn't make it a commercial vehicle. Not that it matters; they can't charge you anything as there's no loss.

    If you felt like causing trouble, you could email them from a different address asking what constitutes a commercial vehicle, as a neighbour mentioned a clause and you occasionally have a work van.

    If you can then prove that it's not a commercial vehicle by their own admission, it's another point to add to the PoPLA appeal.

    White mini van , not used for commercial purposes but because its a van and it is white they call it a commercial vehicle i guess.

    whats a "mini van" , it sounds like an American thing , do you actually mean a BMW mini van , or even a classic BLMC mini van , or are you using mini van as a generic term

    the only currant "mini van" is a BMW 2 series 7 seater
