catalogue debt - don't know where to turn

Hi, I currently owe a catalogue company £6000. I was managing the monthly payments just fine until the buy now pay later ended and the minimum payment jumped to over £300 a month! It's prob sat in a big pile of bad debts with some incompetent middle manager not knowing what to do with them. Best case it's written off totally - worst case it will be sold for a small amount in the pound that you can act on when the time is right. Get on with your life and build your credit rating until you hear anything!
