You come out of it pretty unscathed .... probably lucky to get your money back.
Generally I stick with mainstream dealers and, while they charge more, you are in a much better position if things go awry - nothing every guaranteed but if buying big ticket items, weigh up the risks of the retailer.0 -
Since the above is the case I would just go about my life and never mind further action.
Think this will be the best course of action.
If you did have issues It would be better to go through the practitioner dealing with the liquidation.

EDIT : Check out the date of the meeting. Dangerous trading with a company in liquidation with no held stock. They were no doubt on stop with the suppliers at that time of the OP buying the sofa.0
