The company that their SSL is registered to is TRADE FURNITURE SUPPLIER LTD. doing a web search on Duedil brings up that TRADE FURNITURE SUPPLIER LTD was registered on 4th August 2014.
If you visit their Facebook page, you'll see messages from other customers....
What I do see from their facebook (and twitter) page is that the last posting by them appears to have been made 16 May 2014, and the domain name itself was first registered in 2008 and appears to belong to someone in America, so I don't think it can be the company you've linked it to.0 -

When they received the stock, we couldn't agree a date, because I was selected for Jury Service to start 17th November and that would be for 2 weeks, my luck I had to do 3 weeks.
Luckily I arranged the 10th, but it seems from the delivery manager, I wasn't booked in and now they could offer next day delivery on a any Sofa I didn't want.
Didn't 4 weeks from China sound dubious to you?
Or did you think they were going to airfreight this cut price sofa for you?
A delivery manager promising you next day delivery, having inadvertently missed you off his delivery schedule, doesn't sound like a place that is in liquidation.
I'll leave you to it here, as the story appears to be taking me into the twilight zone :cool:0 -
I don't know if you have ever bought furniture before. Most retail outlets now get their products in China or the far east and labour is very cheap.
It seems that you are questioning my comments in regards to how long the furniture was to come, that's not the point.
I don't know if the company is in liquidation of not, if you know, please pass on your knowledge.
As I said earlier, I asked the sales guy and he said no and they have money in their account.
Why does it take over 7 days to refund the money, that's the point I am interested in now.
The delivery date has come and gone, but I am still waiting for a refund which should take minutes, rather then the 7 days.
Please be helpful, rather then trying to muddy the waters.0 -
Hi,
Many thanks for the guys, who had advised me about Chargeback (which I never heard about).
I have just checked Santander account and money has come back, rang and spoke to confirm if they returned the money or the furniture company, they said the bank did.
I am in the process of taking the company to small claims court for the lost of a day's pay.
Can I had on anything else on the claim for the amount of time wasted, phone calls (I have recordings, used my mobile on at least 10 occasions promising return of money immediately), writing to bank.
And most importantly the amount of inconvenience and stress thy put me under.
Many Thanks,0 -

Many Thanks,
Yes, you can add whatever you like on to your claim.
First question: do you believe that the company actually has the money to pay you anything the court awards you? In which case, you need to give the judge a reasonable calculation of the amounts you are claiming: time at something similar to your hourly wage; telephone calls at what they cost you... Stress and inconvenience? Simply thinking of a number will not get you anywhere.
At least you got back the money you paid.0 -
I doubt you will get anywhere in the Small Claims court with the company in liquidation. There will be other creditors including HMRC that no doubt will be reclaiming damages. Have a look at the Companies House. Overdue accounts and status is in liquidation.0
