    Hi all,

Am a regular MSE email reader but have never signed up to the blogs so am completely new and would love any tips / hints for how to get the best out of this..

I am desperately trying to pay off some debts this year and have a lot of belongings that i am sure i can do without, and time that i could put to use to make some extra cash on weekends and evenings.

If anyone has a template for keeping track of this that would be really helpful.

Looking forward to getting involved :)

    Welcome!

On above link, there is a debt-free forum and I saw there people post their outgoings/incomings and get advice etc. Can't remember the name but just posting as you have asked for a template and you can find help there !

A lot of people put considerable amount of time to use different websites, surveys, offers etc so hard to give an optimum plan for everyone. Some people hate surveys some don't, some people have 3-4 hours every day while others only 1.

Most of us are using different websites to earn vouchers, cash but doing simple things like cutting lunch costs or switching energy providers help to save more so my advise would be that just choose whatever suits you.

On a relevant note, my January income is £304.01 - This total includes many things but the biggest came from Global Test Market, Ebay, Swagbucks and John Lewis vouchers we have received as present.

Some of it are in the form of vouchers (Amazon, Boots). Next month is bonus month so will see how much progress I will made towards the goal.

Also I need to find out where it has all gone already - surely not my savings account!:eek:

Oh right... adding a sig doesn't grandfather itself onto all your previous posts, so I'm posting again to include my sig and hopefully be provided with accountability!

I have made £185.95 this month. This is from interest and cashback on my Santander credit card and bank account. Most of it (£150) was from another bank, as compensation following a complaint. Next month is unlikely to be as much as this month. I have to make £5.44 per day for the rest of the year to meet the target. With ebay sales etc, I think that is achievable. Good luck everyone!
  • I received my £1000 Amazon vouchers this week that I was lucky to win earlier in the month :j Struggling with ebay so this was very welcome!

  • Late, as usual but could I possibly tag along for this challenge?

I have my Tesco cc debt £790 hanging over me which id love to see gone. Also myself and my partner are looking to save up a deposit for a house. Hopefully through the Help To Buy Scheme, so were aiming for saving £5000 each for the deposit.
