  • Had an unexpected payment into my savings account. It's obviously a nice little boost to get me closer to £2015 but not sure where it has come from. It says ipa loans control. Does anybody know what this means? I only use this account for savings and have never made any payments from it so it can be a refund. I'm confused!

    ally.
  • Right... after a bit of wiggling (and laboriously rewriting the spreadsheets I lost when my laptop crashed last year) I've finally got some figures to add.

    January
    Overtime/ Bank holiday shifts: £197.93
    TSB interest: £6.86
    Roadkill: 50p
    Total: £205.29

    February (so far)
    TSB interest: £6.65
    ISA annual interest: £59.31
    Mobile contract cashback: £40
    Recycling old phone: £2
    Boots voucher saving: 68p
    Crowdology: £4.70

I haven't been able to get any overtime and I've been on annual leave, but I've been busy giving my savings and bank accounts a bit of a make-over. If it all works out I'll be getting a decent chunk of interest each month.

    Pretty pleased so far :j
