In my 60s and have tried the Boots range, Perfect and Protect I think its called. Couldn't see it did much.
I am currently paranoid at an age spot on the back of my hand, I think they are so ageing. I have lots of freckles, not big dark ones but lots of litte gold cooured ones but suddenly noticed the large dark mark on my hand. I have been putting lemon juice on it and using Dove hand cream, it says it does correct dark spots. I am amazed at the result, in a month it is smaler and lighter. I looks like it is going to divide into two as the is a line down the middle which is almost normal skin colour. I guess this means these products do something.
By the way if anyone has any brilliant ideas about how to encourage the age spot to disappear I would love to know.
I am lucky as the skin on my face is in pretty good nick,. no wrinkles. I wish my neck and hands matched.
You can actually watch the age spots peel off when you have a TCA peel which must be administered by a professional, other types of peels may work too but I can vouch for this one as I've had several myself0 -

Oh that sounds good. I have never had a peel so I will have to investigate that. Are they normally for the face or specially for the hands? Thanks for the help.Sell £1500

"What works works, that's it, it was a suggestion of a product that gets rid of or helps to prevent wrinkles rather than spending loads of money over the years on creams etc that only ever help superficially, take it or leave it its anyone's choice and plenty of people choose to go down the Botox etc route with excellent long term results including me so I am happy to recommend this procedure, there really is no need to be rude because you don't agree with what I have said, that's bloody ridiculous"
Hi Wannabeslim, I totally agree with you , there is no reason to be so rude , everyone is allowed their own opinion
I also think, as you do, that anti wrinkle creams can help greatly with the texture of the skin , but cannot "lift " the skin or get rid of wrinkles but botox or fillers sure do.
These ladies who do not use moisturiser and have no wrinkles what so ever and are taken for someone 10 years younger are very lucky!!!!0 -
I started taking good care of my skin in my twenties! Acne was a huge problem for me! I started using anti-aging cream after I turned 30! But I don't use them much. I daily cleanse, tone and moisturise to keep my skin glowing!
That was a hilarious one sulkisu!0 -

The only people to benefit from expensive creams and botox are the manufacturers. And the marketing companies.
If you have a healthy lifestyle your skin will reflect that. No amount of cream or poison will make a scrap of difference. People who have Botox look ridiculous eventually.
I use Aldi Q10 moisturiser every day, i refuse to pay more than a fiver for moisturiser. The Aldi one is £3.99 although i got some last week for £1.99 as it was in a tub rather than a pump.0 -
I've been working my way up through the 'ages' of Weleda's face stuff. I started using the iris lotion a few years ago but then moved to the cream as I tend to have dry skin. My 30th birthday was in September and as the weather got cold I started needing something more so I switched to the wild rose cream. Iris is supposed to be for your 20s (balances skin) and rose for your 30s (softens fine lines) so I guess that's right. I wouldn't describe the rose range as anti-ageing really though, it's just age appropriate face care - I wouldn't expect to need the same products at 10 and 20 years old, so I don't expect to need the same at 30 or 40. In another 10 years, I guess I'll switch to the pomegranate range.0
