  • I found Halifax cheapish for House Insurance also done it through Quidco... I have had to get Quidco to chase the cashback because it was not tracked. I reckon it will eventually though. Mrs Happy
  • I have just started using Quidco after faffing about for years! In the last 2 days i've earned just over £106 - car insurance and kelkoo, mainly.sees to be ok. Can anyone out tell me if i have to put in a enquiry for all earnings even if they are tagged as "tracked"? And can someone tell me why my wireless laptop will not go to kelkoo via quidco but diverts me to "http/:ukdoubletrader" or similar?

Well, I've taken the plunge and ordered mrs GunJack's new phone with simply3g via quidco - the order is tracking already and for £30 not the advertised £17.50...bargain !!!

Also, lynz, re-quoted the buildings and contents with LTSB, and it looks like I can get one for £7-odd a month and the other for £10-odd a month, so will now go via quidco and earn some more money back !!!

GunJack - getting happier by the transaction :D

i insured my dads little Ka through screentrade via quidco,£141 fully comp with £120 cashback...so 1 years insurance foir £21

did my home contents insurance through barclays via quidco for £117 for a year, got £125 cashback......free insurance plus £8 profit

my car insurance, although barclays wasnt quite the cheapest with the £85 cashback they offered through quidco it certainly was

i tend to go through quidco for all my online purchases(the merchants they support obviously lol) and it soon mounts up

these are things i would be purchasing anyway so why not get some cashback for doing so

guys - sorry to bump this thread, but I have a (probably) stupid question......

quidco gets you £50-£55 for swithching gas & electric to powergen/scottish power, and £12 for using uswitch.

can you go from quidco to uswitchand then to the energy supplier and get £12+£50 back, or will I have to go from quidco direct to the energy co. and just get the single £50-ish payment ??

    Any advice appreciated...

When it says using uswitch - that will mean switching through uswitch so therefore getting the £12. Go through quidco to the energy supplier for the higher cashback.

You could consider switching your gas and electric separately to get two lots of cashback. Others have done that.

Absolutely - I have had one payment of £424 for changing insurances etc around ( at no extra cost ) and bits and pieces of shopping - with another £380 sitting waiting to come out

I also treat it as a sort of extra savings account -you can set it to withdraw when you reach a set amount - I've set this high , so that its worth getting in one go
  • I have only been doing Quidco a week and up to now Kellco and High Street Web are either tracked or validated but I have bid and paid PayPal on Ebay but nothing has shown up and it has been 2 days, so should I be worried?

I whizz through kelkoo once a day and highstreetweb twice a day (just make sure you do an hour between them or so and both highstreetweb searches will track).

I have taken out health insurance twice for the gym membership (I had to cancel one after 6 months) and got two lots of cashback for that at £115 each, house insurance this year netting £75, car insurance twice last year £200, both are due again so there is more in the making (even if we stay with the same people and let the renewal lapse and go for new business quote to get cashback) ooh and various other offers. Had nearly £500 paid with another £400 or so due in. LOVE QUIDCO!
