Thanks everyone for replying to this. I have perused the threads mentioned above, and one thing kinda jumps out at me - the fact that none of the cashbacks are guaranteed. My concern on this is for example, you go through quidco for a product, which is slightly dearer than you could get elsewhere, but then you don't end up getting the cashback, and so end up out of pocket. Does this happen much? Am i just being over-cautious?? Any opinions welcomed......

I have only had one thing that didn't track, which was £16, but I have had other stuff that totals over £300 that did track without problem, so worth the risk in my opinion!

If you consider it a bonus rather than rely on it, then you won't go far wrong. Nice little bonus though! I just wish I had found it sooner!!

This does happen sometimes, and you're right it's not guaranteed so if the merchant doesn't pay up then there's little you or Quidco can do about it but chalk it up to experience.
I think it is rare however in comparison to the amount of times your transaction will track.
If it's a large amount you're talking about, say £100 for an insurance product, then you can go through Quidco and see if it tracks then if it doesn't cancel the policy within your 14 days cool off period and try again. I've read of people on the Quidco thread that do it this way just to be sure.

Here's the new Quidco thread- Enjoy!

I just faffed on for an hour signing up to this and that on my boyfriends new account and for an outlay of a whopping £2 I've managed to get £28.65

Not bad for an hours work :)

I worked out from a few of the betting sites too that if you can afford to sign up and make the minimum deposits you can more than double your money - sign up to just the 7 which I noted down and it'll cost you £62 but you'll get £132 in cashback (plus the change to win more money with your minimum deposit!).

If you're signing up to gambling sites you may as well match the bets off for guaranteed profit and not just the possibility of winning.

Never count on the money from Quidco just incase there is a problem with it. I've got 4 that haven't paid up despite waiting for months and asking Quidco about them. Still, I've got £306 that I'd not have if I hadn't signed up.
