If you go on lloyds bank website the number is there with info. The number is 0800 151 0292. If you don't have any paperwork then they will have the loan account number and will be able to tell you straight away if you had PPI. If you did then they will go through the forms with you. I was given £1,615.40 with tax deducted for each of my three loans I or they had no idea of loan amount. It was based on average payout they are currently issuing.
Twenty mins on the phone wait 8weeks for an answer.

Thanks for the information, I will ring them tomorrow, fingers crossed.0

Hi Bocspur, made the call, they're going to check if there was PPI, apparently there are two loans, I can only remember one. If there is PPI they are going to send me the forms to fill in and I will here within eight weeks. Thanks again for your posts, I had no idea you could claim that far back.0

Hi Bocspur,
Congratulations. Was the amount £1615.40 after they deducted tax or before ?
I've had 4 loans from 1988 to 1996 with Lloyds and didn't realise you could go back that far. I'll give them a ring on Monday and hopefully they will have my account numbers.0
