You're comparing a bulky plastic laptop with a MacBook Pro?
And an 11" laptop with a 17" one?

It's an interesting perspective, I'll give you that.

You specifically stated, in response to my post:

A few folk say this, but never come up with any examples.

    Strange, that.

I have provided you with 2 examples of apple overcharging on spec - I never stated that the laptops would be identical.

    That said however:

    Macbook pro 13" is 2.41cm high, 22.7cm deep, 32.5cm wide 2.06kg
    Alienware 13" is 2.79cm high, 23.5cm deep, 32.8cm wide 2.058kg

So how is the Alienware "bulky" when it's virtually identical in size and weight (again with superior spec for same price).

If you want to match build:

Dell Inspiron 15 7000 series in forged aluminium (same as mac book pro)
    £749
    spec as above
    2.5cm high, 37.94cm wide, 25.48cm deep
    2.6kg weight

    15" macbook pro
    £1599
    i7 2.2ghz (slower than the 3.1 dell)
    16gb ram (same)
    Intel Iris Pro Graphics (worse)
1.8 cm high, 35.89 cm wide, 24.71 cm deep
    2.02 kg weight

I could go on but it would be embarassing

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

I wouldn't worry about that. It couldn't possibly be any more embarrassing than post number 30 was :rotfl:
